Hey folks,

We finally have our first SEGA Video Podcast live on the site — it’s an interview I did with three of the creators and writers of Happy Tree Friends.  Our HTF game should be ready for Xbox 360 Marketplace and PC download later this month, so now’s a good time to get acquainted with the guys behind the animated series upon which the game is based.

This podcast is part one of a two-part series with these three nutjobs, and I also have an upcoming video podcast with Martin Kaplan, producer of the Happy Tree Friends: False Alarm game, which delves into more detail about the game itself.  This first podcast is really focused on how the series was created and how the guys come up with crazy ideas to cruelly dismember their cuddly characters in every episode.

Head to our HTF game page to check out the video; the hi-res version provides a much larger view (and look at the gameplay) but it’s a huge file and takes a long time to download, while the low-res downloads quickly but it’s pretty small.

Since we’re going to be doing video podcasts for many games in the future, I’d love to get your feedback on what you think of the first one — what you liked and disliked, how we can improve, and other comments.

So, it’s no big secret that there was a leak of press materials last week giving the world a glimpse at our upcoming new Sonic game.  Since then, we’ve been inundated with requests for confirmation of the info, and now we can finally go ahead and say — Sonic Unleashed is official and coming your way this holiday season.

This morning we posted a new website with the official video (a tad different than the video you may have already seen), a few screenshots and a press release, and more will be forthcoming in the near future.

Having seen this game and the Hedgehog Engine in action already, all I can say for now is — if you want speed, you’ve got it.
