Damn I want those Genesis controllers. My Genesis works, but the controllers are busted.
After seeing this, I want to work at SEGA now! :D
I read a comment earlier where you say, "what's in the room stays in the room," if that's the case, how woul you rent out the games? I'm really interested in renting this just so I can relive certain games and experience others I've been dying to play.

I've been looking for an old Genesis game that I used to play as a kid on Sega Channel (I realize this sounds nearly identical to the "Shadowrun" post made in August), and I can't seem to find it anywhere. All I remember about the game is that it was a side-scrolling adventure game where the main character had a bracelet or magic bracer that could be used as a type of purple grappling beam. You could latch on to things and raise and lower yourself to explore through the levels. The only other thing I can remember about it was one level was a jungle level. I know both these clues are pretty vague, but any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

A friend of mine sent me this lilnk.

Is this room in the building on Townsend and 8th? If it is, I'm the person who set it up. About 11(?) years ago, when SOA moved into that building, I was working as a paralegal temp in the Legal department there, mostly managing Legal files, discovery, library, and , of course, the library.

I scoured the entire office immediately after the move to put together a software & hardware archive, with at least one copy of every game, system and peripheral Sega ever produced. I even convinced them to buy a television for the archive room, to which I hooked up every single system. It was pretty much the high point of my life up to that time.

Based on what you've written here, it may be the same archive I assembled back then, even if it's been moved since.
