Valkyria Chronicles cosplay prizes at NYCC!Attention, soldiers of Gallia! It’s no big secret – Valkyria Chronicles is awesome. Really awesome. Awesome enough that lots of our own staff are addicted to it, and that the author of this blog post thinks it’s one of the best games he’s played in the last few years. The best news – there’s even more in store for Valkyria. Soon we’ll be announcing a date for the first batch of Valkyria Chronicles downloadable content, and – this is the cool part – in the meantime, we’ve got a very nifty call-to-arms for all you Valkyria fans attending the New York Comic-con! Here’s how it works:
We’ve stockpiled a very limited amount of these books to give away, so time will be of the essence as we’ll have a set amount to give out on both Friday and Saturday at the convention. Just in case there are a large number of cosplayers, the fastest soldiers to arrive each day will be the ones who get the books, but we guarantee that anyone who shows up as a Valkyria character will get some special attention here on the SEGA Blogs, on our Flickr page, and maybe even on the Valkyria website… Finally, if you’re a twitter user, we’ve added a Valkyria Chronicles feed – check us out: @ValkyriaTribune! This year’s Comic-Con is going to be packed with all sorts of SEGA goodness – we hope to see some members of Squad seven (or even the Empire) at the show next month!

I got the game already…1 of the best games for PS3 hands down…But,just like everybody that has it or wants to buy it…we all want to know about a trophy patch…PLEASE GIVE US A TROPHY PATCH FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL GAME!!!

Nice… VC is the most beautiful game i’ve ever played on my PS3(In term of art direction). It’s good to see some news about the DLC. looking forward to it. Sega, keep this & future DLC rolling for VC or for better, a sequel/prequel or whatever. i’ll gladly pay for it. Sega FTW!!
and guys, quit yapping about trophies….i dont even care it it patch or not. and for those who think “No Trophies = No buy”, i pity you guys for not playing one of the most beautiful game in released in 2008

Trophy patch Sega !!!! You put medals in place, change them to trophies. You would see a boost in sales. I own game already but would love to have trophies for it

I personally already bought the game and love it, but in looking for info on trophies I found TONS of people who said they only would not buy the game because of a lack of trophies.
I know, it’s silly, but it’s a relatively small thing and may lead to more sales! I hope you guys consider it, because I would love to see this game be more successful!

I personally cannot wait for the DLC. The Edy episode will be great but please bring over the Selvaria campaign as well. Trophies would be a bonus but new content first I say.
