Valkyria Chronicles DLC announced, and Twitter hints explained!Following tons of discussion about the hints over on the Valkyria Twitter feed, today SEGA has announced DLC for Valkyria Chronicles! (Truly, good things do come in threes.)
Next up, let’s talk about the second hint that was on twitter. When finished, it read: 1-0-3-6-9 To solve this, start at the third number in; the 3 in the middle. (Remember: Good things come in threes) Following the previous hint about threes, now advance three numbers to the right. (Let the 9 loop back to the 1.) This gives you 3-1. Now move to the right another three numbers. 3-16. Another three and you have 3-16-0, and one final set of three gives you 3-16-09, or, today: the date that Valkyria DLC was to be announced. The DLC will be arriving later this Spring, which means the official date will be coming forth soon. Until then, we’ve got some very nifty Valkyria merchandise here, including some limited edition artbooks and even rarer figurines from Japan – and, just as with those MadWorld hoodies from before, we’d like to give them out to those communities that show the most love for Valkyria!

Honestly this is part of my backlog and the game’s still sealed. I know Im going to be hated for asking this, but any trophy patch in the future? Just so I know if I should play through it all now or just some of it casually now.

I’ve been spreading the love on every online game I go onto, talking about how it’s a PS3 must have. Got my entire old Socom clan to go out and buy the game, and they’ve been telling everyone they know about it ever since. The game deserves to be played by everyone, and I hope it continues to be talked about.

I’m hotly anticipating the DLC. I think I remember Sony mentioning it on their blog waaaay back just when the game was about to come out that localization of the DLC was in the works though but I’m glad to see an official press statement now.
VC was, in my opinion, the best game of 2008. I even did a review of it back in November.

Great to hear about the DLC! This is one of my favorite games, and I can’t wait for the anime and DLC to come out. I’ve been talking about this game non-stop since it came out, and all my friends with PS3s have it. Keep it up!

We love Valkyria Chronicles at VGChartz. It won tons of awards like BEST JRPG of 2008, Best Strategy Game of 2008, Best Game No One Played [:-(]. These are overall as well.

Gaygamer.net wrote a couple of articles on Valkyria, trying to get some attention for it. The founder of the site even looks a little bit like Largo!
The game’s popped up a few times on the forums too. People seem really floored by the diversity of the cast, gameplay, and art style (there’s some really artistic people there and I’ve seen at least one sketch of a character). Not a huge community, but I know a few people who’d be really thrilled to take some of this stuff home–especially me!

seriously…… Sega….. are you working on a trophy patch? Yes or No? I have this game, and want to start playing it, but will hold back if a trophy patch is being worked on, as I have many games to keep me occupied for the time being. Please either put it to bed, or annouce it.

It’s gotta be vgchartz.com. So many threads created on it, including an enormous official thread with over 1000 posts and 40,000 views. Honestly, the people on the site wouldn’t shut up about it – I didn’t care for the demo at all – but they convinced me to give it another shot. I bought it and love it.

Yup, that’s right. VGCHARTZ! Our very own Outlawauron is probably the biggest Valkyria Chronicles fan in existence and is the creator of what is possibly the biggest Valkyria Chronicles thread on the net. Everyday new members are introduced to Valkyria Chronicles and we have yet to find anyone who dislikes this wonderful gem.
I do however ask of one thing other than hosting this contest on our site.
Give us the DLC and a Sequel!

The fact that this hard mode isn’t being accompanied with any sort of trophy path is unacceptable. Where are the trophies, Sega? THIS GAME DESERVES TROPHIES!
