Exclusive: SEGA announces an all-new community Podcast!SEGA fans, this one goes out to all of you. What’s it like to work at SEGA? With E3 just around the corner (quite literally), SEGA has just revealed an all-new official podcast where you can find out just that! Brought to you by the SEGA of America community team, the first episode – titled Genesis – is now available for free streaming and download online, and you can listen in for a behind-the-scenes look at one of the biggest and most time-consuming parts of E3: Namely, getting ready for E3. SEGA Community Podcast – Episode 1: Genesis
Hosts and Special GuestsIf you checked out our Sonic Unleashed podcast last year, a couple voices will sound familiar – the hosts include Kellie, Julian, and myself (Aaron), and in our flagship episode we’re joined by three special guests from the company:
This is just the beginning for SEGA and all of our E3 community coverage – check back in on the SEGA blogs and forums tomorrow night for even more news from the floor, the opinions from your community team members, and a chance to win some sweet (and exclusive) E3 swag straight from the show floor! Even if you can’t attend the show in person this year, we’ll be doing our best to bring all the big SEGA announcements right to your doorstep. Let us know what you thought of the show here and on the SEGA Forums – we’d love to hear what you guys thought! | ||

How often are we going to get these podcasts?
I would have loved to have been there for the Naka & Miyamoto meeting… But I think its slightly sad that the game that came from that is a sports game… I mean, common. Everyone whos everyone who saw that imagined a platformer.

They story about Naka & Miyamoto is pretty awesome, like the poster before me said. An outline of say, the greatest hits from the podcast should be given either in the description of the podcast or at the beginining of it; it would shave lots of time off my life to just know what I’m getting myself into for the next 40 minutes. Great work, keep it up! SEGA fans appreciate it

We are working to have the podcasts monthly, but for E3 we’ll be doing an additional show (Ruby is doing the edits tonight, so look for it shortly)!
This is a fun new project for us and we appreciate your feedback. We are working out the kinks on the show info, etc, so don’t hold back, let us know what you like and dislike.
Also, no news on Shenmue, but if anything ever does pop up, you can bet we’ll be telling everyone about it.

If this is going to be a regularly published podcast, where is the feed so I can subscribe? I use Nokia Podcasting on my E71 to download all my favorite podcasts, and in order to subscribe to this, I’ll need to know what network this is published on so I can update and search for it, or a direct feed url so I can subscribe manually. Love the show, keep up the great work!

As others have said… Looking for a podcast link I can subscribe to for future podcasts. Looked and iTunes and found http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-sega-show/id318755171 but it doesn’t look like its related to this at all and hasn’t been updated since last year.

Ya, we haven’t been doing many podcasts for some time, it’s something we really loved doing, but haven’t had as much time as we’d like to get in and produce a show we’re really proud of. For us, that level of quality is important.
