Alpha Protocol wins four new ‘Best of’ E3 Awards!

As the last of the E3 coverage comes in, the Awards for the ‘Best of’ categories are all being revealed – and Bayonetta isn’t the only one with some new medals!

All in all, Alpha Protocol now has four shiny new trophies to tout, including:

As Gaming Excellence put it:

…the deep character and equipment customization options, as well as the dynamically branching conversation systems, set this game above almost all other games shown at E3 this year.

Nicely done, AP! We’ll have lots more news from the Alpha Protocol front soon, and if you haven’t already, be sure to check out the very nifty website here!

2 New Let’s Tap Trailers!

We’re a week away from the launch of Let’s Tap, and I’ve got TWO gameplay videos to tide you over!

Bubble Voyager

Clad in a space suit, solo players tap to keep their character afloat through many levels filled with dangerous objects; a double tap will launch a missile. In multiplayer matches, you will shoot each other a number of times to win. (1-4 players)

This game is somewhat tricky to get the hang of, but once you do, it’s really fun. The single player is an engaging 2D side-scrolling game. The multiplayer really challenges you to be fast, but subtle in your tapping.

Everyone will take their turn with several Unique stages including Fireworks, Paint, River, Gem Game and Ink. Tapping with light, medium and hard strokes produces on-screen effects ranging from a fireworks display to undersea bubbles. In special tap sequences, various sea animals will appear. (1 player)

If you’re just looking to chill out and make pretty pictures, this is the game for you. I can also imagine it being a hit at parties, since you can just pick up and play at any time. It doesn’t take a lot of time, effort, or concentration. I would also imagine it to be great for kids who want to tap around and play, as there is no real win or lose. It’s the zen garden of Let’s Tap — there’s no right or wrong way to do it… just relax and have fun.
