MADWORLD Soundtrack hits the US TOMORROW!Let’s go! Back when MADWORLD first shipped in the US, all of us here looked with jealous eyes over in the direction of Europe, who got a very special Soundtrack bonus for one of their pre-orders. “Release the Soundtrack here!” shouted US owners everywhere. Today, we’re happy to confirm that your requests did not go unheard. Starting tomorrow, the MADWORLD soundtrack will be going out across the US! (and Europe, if you missed the pre order) The coolest part – you don’t even have to wait for shipping. Sumthing Distribution, where you can order the record, is letting you choose between buying a physical copy of the CD (with Black/White/Red style insert and packaging) or, alternatively, downloading it directly to your PC. I was literally just handed a few of the physical soundtracks, so I took some pictures for you guys wondering what it will look like: The Soundtrack will run at $15.99 – and you can pick it up not only in America, but across much of Europe too! (Both physical CD and via digital download.) Enjoy guys, and have fun next time you blast ‘Ride‘ while

I heard that the lyrics have been changed to make the songs more “G-rated.” Is this true, or are the songs exactly as they are in the game?

They are the same as they were in the game. The soundtrack has been out in Europe as the preorder and the songs on it are the same as they are in the game. In point of fact one song is only played in the game for 20secs yet on the album it is several minutes.

I saw that Joystiq had posted that the songs would have vulgarities taken out – and I can proudly confirm for you that that is wrong.
All the songs are uncensored and stay completely true to the game soundtrack – I tested it out myself just to make sure.

I do not see such an article on joystiq. Looks like it may have been taken down since it was an attempt to troll the wii.
Tlund Amazon.com has it so they should be able to ship it to Canada and retailers may be able to order it as well. This may shock you but a lot of brick and mortar shops when you ask them they can get you things not on their shelves and not on their website. It’s the smaller non corporate owned ones but sometimes the corporate owned ones can do it as well.
Even Barnes and Noble can get books published in other languages as long you provide the ISBN number and the language and other details.

Wow, the packaging is gorgeous, they really hit it out of the park. I’m glad they put effort into this even though it probably won’t sell that many copies. Kudos to everyone.
Can’t wait for mine to arrive been waiting for this!

For Notlikely – I dug up the original Joystiq article, here’s the quote / link:
“Soon those who didn’t pre-order the game will be able to land a pristine, vulgarity-free version of the soundtrack…”

This soundtrack is about as vulgarity-free as MADWORLD is about kittens and hugs.
