Bayonetta Community Event in San Diego! This July 24th, Sega and PlatinumGames are having a special community event in San Diego! We’re giving fans a chance to meet members of PlatinumGames and the Bayonetta development team. We’ll be showing off the game, hosting a night of dinner, drinks, and prizes, including a special, one of a kind, Xbox 360 system. Best of all, we’re opening this event up to fifteen lucky people within the Bayonetta community. Signing up is easy, but you need to meet a few basic criteria to be eligible: If you meet the above without any issues, then entering is even easier, simply: We wish you the best of luck and look forward to seeing you on July 24th!

New Planet 51 Movie TrailerHe’s come a long way from “It’s just a flesh wound“, but the John Cleese we all know and love is back again – among a lot of stars, in fact – in Planet 51. In the newest trailer, you can actually hear the voice acting for the characters – and we think it’s pretty fantastic.
Anyone else surprised that Chuck (the astronaut) is actually voiced by The Rock?

Item 3: MADWORLD Soundtrack and 4 stickers Just in this past week, we’ve got a MADWORLD soundtrack for you! Along with 4 MADWORLD stickers, this is a must-have for the MADWORLD fans out there. Everyone is eligible to win this prize. Congrats to our winner, @watermelon64! Item 5: Conduit T-Shirt This is a size L Conduit t-shirt with the above design on the front, and The Conduit, SEGA, and High Voltage Software logos on the back. To see the shirt un-folded and to see the back, watch the video. Everyone is eligible to win this prize. Congrats to our winner, @KirbyGCN17! Item 6: Bleach Dark Souls for Nintendo DS This is Bleach Dark Souls for Nintendo DS. This game is not region locked, so everyone is eligible to win. How it Works1. You must be following us on Twitter to be eligible. (If you don’t have a Twitter account, you can create one by going to http://www.twitter.com and click the green “get started — join!” button in the center of the page.) Make Sure We’re Following You on TwitterIf you are currently following us on Twitter, please be sure that we are following you as well. You can do this by making sure that SEGA is in your “followers” list, or by going to DoesFollow and typing SEGA in the first blank, your Twitter username in the second, and pressing the “check” button. You can reverse this to be sure that you are following us. If you are following us, but we’re not following you, please send a message to @SEGA and we will follow you. This is important, because only people we follow can send us direct messages (DMs), and DMs are the only way to enter the giveaways. How to Send Direct Messages on TwitterThere are a few ways to send us a Direct Message on Twitter. The easiest way is to go to our Twitter page and select “message” under the “Actions” heading in the side bar. If you do not see “message”, this means that we are not following you. Please send a message to @sega to let us know, and we will follow you. When you click “message” you will be taken to a window where you can type a message and press send. You may also select the “direct messages” tab from your Twitter homepage, and select SEGA from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. Again, if you don’t see our name there, it’s probably because we’re not following you. Let us know, and we’ll follow you. There are also many Twitter clients that you can use instead of using the website. These include TweetDeck, Twitteriffic, Tweetie, and Twhirl. Each of these programs works differently, so you’ll want to figure out how to send a direct message on the program you use. If you want to send us a test message, we’ll let you know if we received it or not.

I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.
