Super Monkey Ball was once my favourite game for partys, it was awesome… The mini games were so damn fun, Monkey Target, Monkey Fight, Mini Golf… All so fun. Super Monkey Ball Delux being the best by far.
Then Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz came out and it just SUCKED, instead of 5-10 really awesome fleshed out we had 60 of the most pointless crap mini games I’ve ever played… It felt like a failed tech demo… Horrible. Not only that, but the returning games like Monkey Target were complete rubbish…
If this happens again, I will never buy another Monkey Ball game again and I will make sure nobody else I know does either. Don’t ruin my Monkey Ball again.
We don’t need those pointless ‘boss battles’ either… its a puzzle game…

@ Iwh, Maybe thats becuase you had not previous experience with how awesome Monkey Ball mini games were in previous Monkey Ball games…
If you had, then you must be crazy… simple as that, BBs mini games were not even half as good as the previous games. It was more like a rushed tech demo for Wii with SMB skins.

A little later than I would like, but I am pumped. It’s been awhile. Fortunately I can get a nice discount on the balance board. Monkey Ball has definitely been a killer app for me on a few ‘platforms’ by now (heh…) and I’ve been interested in seeing this announced ever since someone pulled up the trademark for it. The control method is once again entirely obvious and should work out very nicely.
