One thing that ticked me off a little bit was when they said “Speed Returns”. Huh? Speed RETURNS? Since when did we give it permission to leave in the first place!? But yeah, I’m still excited because I love me some Sonic!

Pure 2D Sonic game? Is this finally the 2D Sonic game that fans and critics has been begging for in the past decade?! OMG, this is too much. I dunno how to react to this!
What an great way to celebrate Dreamcast’s 10th anniversary. ^^

Thank you, Sega. Us fans may whine a lot, but we really do appreciate you. Out of all major game publishers, Sega is definitely the kindest to it’s fans. You guys put our fanart in your games, do tons of giveaways, and apparently even listen to what we want to see in a game. I’m proud to be a Sega fan!

@17 segas been tweeting about the dreamcast all day, and this trailer couldn’t be any more obvious that it’s sonic. Why even make it secret when anyone with half a brain can tell it’s a new 2d sonic game.

Finally!
I was hoping that all this super-speed 3D nonsense would cease.
Now if only the puzzle solving elements would come back in…
Figuring out the puzzles was half the fun!

WHAT THIS GAME NEEDS:
-Sonic playable (only)
-Platforming as well as speed
-Great level design with each level having their own gimmicks/puzzles
-momentum based gameplay
-Great old school sonic music
-A simple plot that I don’t have to care about, hear about… or think about.
-Badnik enemies that when broken, small animals come out of.
-Spin Dash
WHAT THIS GAME DOES NOT NEED:
-Stupid storys about giant monsters and the end of the world
-Any new crappy friends
-A button that makes you go top speed
-Endless grind rails
-Voice acting, bad dialogue
-Rock music with corny lyrics
Please, just give us old school Sonic fans a chance to have something we like… Just ones we havent had a nice classic Sonic game in at least 15 years. Don’t crap on us again.

Cool teaser.
Need to see some gameplay, and whatever brand new character is making a pointless appearance before I form an opinion though.

I don’t know why Sega is the last to announce these news? It’s more that 24h that Game Spot and many other sites had announced this!
Also I wish Sega has plan to release this game for PC too.
Oh I forgot, happy birthday Dreamcast!
