Oh wow. This is the first time any VC game has been discounted, let alone 10 of them at once. I hope Nintendo allows this to happen for WiiWare games, too.

@g-man: Astute observation, and that’s exactly right, this is the first VC sale ever, so far as I’m aware. For that reason exactly we are hoping this gets a lot of support, because more support = more probability of it happening again in the future! And to be honest, I’m especially happy with the games that were selected: the Sonic games are a no-brainer, and the others are an awesome mix of arcade classics and hard-core favorites (Shining Force and Streets of Rage 2 FTW).

This is something I would have expected if the Wii hadn’t sold as well as it did. Nice to see price changes can occur.

Will something like this ever happen again? Maybe to make up for the wii’s lack of sonic generatios and ultimate genesis collection? …i didnt know a sale happened in 2009 but i will definitely take super advantage of it now.
