Yep, that’s right, we have a unique opportunity for those that live in or around the San Francisco Bay Area (or beyond, it’s up to you) – come play Aliens vs Predator this Thursday at a special community event. We’re showing off the remaining online modes for Aliens vs Predator and even have Tim Jones of Rebellion on hand to give you the full scoop on the game. The event will be a chance to play through all remaining multiplayer maps, modes, and grill Tim Jones about all the details you’ve been craving to hear more about.

Aliens vs. Predator - GamesCom Screens

The event will be on January 28th, from 12pm to 3pm (or so), so schedule accordingly if you can attend. We would love if we could get everyone into the event, but unfortunately we only have 8 spots available. We’re reaching out to our Sega community, across the blogs, forums, twitter, and Facebook – tell us if you can attend and we’ll lock you in to play some Aliens vs Predator!

If you are interested and can make the event, please post to the blogs and let us know you can make it! We’ll use the email address you post under to contact you about the event, so be sure this information is accurate! Good luck,we hope to see you this Thursday!

Planet 51 Contest Winners

Now and then you’ll see us posting contests here on the blogs with prizes ranging from small (free stuff friday) to big (like, say, a free tip for your entire family down to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida.) Today we’d like to give our congratulations for winning one such prize to the Stemple Family of Kernersville, NC! They’ve scored themselves an exclusive tour of the complex by winning our Planet 51 Sweepstakes from last year – which is pretty awesome if anything remotely space related piques your interest.

Grats once again guys, and enjoy the trip!

Submit Your Questions for Matt Fraction!

Iron Man 2: The Game (Logo)

If you’re a fan of Marvel comics, you likely know the name Matt Fraction. He’s an Eisner-Award winning comic book writer known for his work on The Invincible Iron Man. What you may not know is that he’s co-written the story for the Iron Man 2 game coming out this spring.

Next week, I’m lucky enough to have a chance to interview Matt. Instead of just reporting his answers to you though, I want you guys to ask the questions! Submit your questions for Matt here on the blog, on our Facebook page, or reply to us via Twitter with the hashtag #mattq. I’ll choose my favorite questions to ask Matt, and report all the Q&A right here on the blog!
