Aliens vs Predator Demo hitting February 4th!I can now reveal that an online multiplayer demo for Aliens vs. Predator is about to land. The demo will be released simultaneously on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and STEAM on February 4th. The multiplayer demo will allow gamers the chance to play as all three species – the Colonial Marine, the Predator and the Alien – and pitch their skills against each other in Deathmatch mode on Refinery, one of the game’s multiplayer maps. Multiplayer Map Scenario: There are numerous vantage points for Predator hunters, dark corners and ceilings for Alien stalkers and tight corridors for heavily-armed Marines. On this map no species is at an advantage and all will have to fight for survival. Welcome to the Aliens vs Predator multiplayer experience. Welcome to the war.

Good to see it’ll be on Steam. Any chances it’ll be on Impulse or any other online distributor come release?

German Sega Support (support@sega.de) officially says: That the upcoming AvP 3 which WON’T BE PUBLISHED in Germany WON’T work on a german steam account.
Many german shops (e. g. amazon.de) list this game as an imported version instead.
Could you please help so that those sold versions will work.

I can’t seem to find any online servers.
It just keeps saying “Searching for games” and nothing happens.
I’m on Steam and Windows 7 btw. :/

Julian, I recall some printed out control scheme sheets at the MLG event in Anaheim when you were showing off AvP. Are these available online? Myself and some friends would like to get better acquainted with the controls.
Can’t wait to try this on my 360, btw!

Just played the avp demo and it’s awesome but I have one major beef.
Why for the human is there no aim button to bring the gun up. This is stupid considering there is an unused button it makes no sense.this might sound dumb but it is going to cost u a lot of money because alot of people will not buy the game because of this just like left 4 dead. Can I have a job yet? I’m a grunt as far work but if I had a seat at the table when games like this are made I know what needs to be done to sell copies.but what do I know I just buy and play the games right.

The DEMO was sweet but you need more work on the marine. Not being able to look down the sight of your gun? Are you kidding? The whole world plays COD and the floating crosshairs on the center of the screen felt like on old PC game. Some character customization wouldn’t hurt either ie. grunt, heavy weapon, recon. This can be a GREAT game but you have to fix the marines or nobody will want to play the main character!

Love the finishing moves. Fix the marines ADS for a top game, grosshairs are just oldschool. Especially when trying a head shot.

The crosshairs are fine. And when are you going to have time to ADS in a real game?
just put the little center square over their head and BAM.
It isn’t like their heads are tiny…..
And the sniper rifle has ADS.
