The block and counter mechanics look cool. Playing as Predator definitely will appeal to the lone wolf…hopefully marines will start working together.

As the Alien, remember that you cannot attack while sprinting. I always mashed light attack when I was sprinting for the kill, but was frustrated when nothing happened.

When on the ceiling, make sure you aren’t anywhere near light sources. The Alien’s image enhancement makes it hard to tell what is bright to other races, but it is really easy to gun down an alien clinging to a ceiling light.

Also, the Alien’s Heavy Attack from the ceiling can reach marines and Predators on the ground.

Super Tip: Predators don’t have motion trackers……!

The disc is guided by your crosshair, on the way to the target as well as back from the target. Try to ricochet it off of as many walls as possible to shred an entire room. This weapon is also excellent for launching into a “trophy kill orgy”, since it pierces enemies it will kill whoever is still alive.

The spear is great as a last ditch melee defense. I got hit by a heavy attack, and as I recovered from the stun, I mashed RT. I hurled the spear point blank and perforated my attacker. Remeber: Spears don’t take energy.

Marines:
When surprised by an Alien, Block. Then when they are stunned, Melee them with whatever weapon you have. Follow up with blasting.

-> Especially works with the shotgun. Stun the opponent, and then blast. Alt Fire is a double dose of lead.
–> If you do enough damage with a shotgun blast, it stuns Aliens. Not sure about Predators. Team Shoot with shotguns to keep up the pressure.
—> 1 Alt Fire from the shotgun can kill a predator at point blank range.

Smartgun:
This uses 2 weapon slots, lets you turn slower, and probably removes your melee capability.

It will only autoaim if your target is in the grey box when you pick up the weapon. If they are within about 15 feed of you, it will show their outline through the terrain.

hey ive been playing avp and i hate if u have to get off real fast u turn of the system and it drops ur ranke also ive been playing and if there should be abilites with skin for example the pretetorian skin should make u tougher and have more health and worriror dome should be able to deflect bullets while blocking and worrior ridge should be able to attack withits head as well and the stalk skin for a pred should be shouldnt be able to be picked up from radar and pharemons claw has tougher armor and hunt can roar and have longer and mor attack and there should be speacal weapons and mor protection from attacks and a radar that picks up enemys standing still also y do u hav to turn to the enemy to block attacks i mean come on and preds should hav longer and higher jumps i post mor about this,later

As pedator, against an alien, stand on a single platform. And have proximity mines behind you. Aim your disc all over the map and the enemy alien will see you. But, won’t go head on, that’s stupid. Attack you from behind!!!! And then BANG!!! No more petty alien. And if they figure this out, and attack you from the front… Cut ‘em up with your smart disc. Easy! But beware of marines and too many aliens O.O You can see aliens from far away. Same with marines. REALLY REALLY far away (on ruins you can see them on the opposite side of the map.) Use that, your plasma caster will lock on. But try to just use to know they aren’t creeping behind you…(^^ even thhough that is what you may want) It may not hit a moving target that far away (it does have to get there)
Against marines…plasma caster!!!!! And spear ‘em if they’re standing still. With the spear-don’t forget your ability to zoom in. Another thing with them proximity mines, put the near entrances, or, choke points, stop those pesky earthlings and.. created, things, from getting to you.

As marines, against aliens, aim high. Again, narrow spaces and use that smart gun!!!!! Not just with aliens, predators to. Errrmmm, like mentioned before stay in groups and CAMP. Aliens can see through walls so keep an eye on you motion tracker. And for aliens and preds that are too far away to get a decent visual (If pred is using alien vision, which you may never know if he is) but that light WILL give you away. I have been killing those aliens and if I had not noticed a mariine’s light, I would have been killed by that marine. Also the light will give away a marine coming from araound a corner.
Against preds, try to avoid those predators. But, again, aim high and find that smartgun. Also try finding an area with your back to a wall and use your scoped rifle. It will highlight the preds where abouts. And don’t go in open spaces. That middle part in ruins is too obvious, a perfect area for preds to get you and aliens to see you and attack from above/sides. Keep to those indoor pyramid-things. You can ambush a target from there. And hide near those energy places. A predator is a sitting duck (Or, lochness monster) when powering up.

As aliens against marines. Use use your ability to stand still………….. To gain the advantage. Camping at corners will get a marine running straight past you. And then you can go for that stealth kill. (E.g. Gateway, in the main area there is a small box place that has an entrance to a cave. On the right, there is a small indent yiu can stick by until a marine (or pred) decides to run into your trap. And them get ‘em _ And attack from above, in pyramid you can lock on from the holes in the roof. Try to attack them when they are near a wall. If they run back shooting. Your fate is sealed. And if they are shooting at you, jump from wall to wall. They will loose track of where you are, and open for an attack! (If there are a few marines… let a friend go first. As a distraction. But make sure they use this method (a kill is a point for them(or nothing what ever game type you are playing))And have you noticed that stupid tail, swishing left and right? Stopping you from hiding? Well, block! Yes, block! You will stand upright (may want to hide behind something) and you tail will stay down while your head pops up! You head isn’t moving! Try that on the roof of gateway (if the marines decide to hide in that corner.)
Against predators, use the walls and your ability to see through them (well, the xeno smells, but you see) to find an exposed running target, also, predators don’t have xray vision in those fanct little Jason X masks. They can’t see you when you are bihind a wall. Also, if a you see a silly littlte laser pointer pointing at you, jump behind something! Make that predator hit a wall! (Do it enough and they will be out of energy) wait by those energy things(noeds? nods? noad?) And if they are watching over a marine (or another alien) find away around them, just past their sight. Remember, the heads don’t turn. They look where they face. And they face away from you! Don’t stand still in an open space either (in fact, NOBODY stand still in an open space apart from predator) that spear is a one shot kill. Needs really good skills on a moving target. But a still target? Poof. Your DEAD.

Try and follow thins guide:
pred kills marine
marine kill alien
alien kills pred
yes? like rock paper scissors (or scissors-paper-stone or fire-water-grass or any other variation on that.)
And try this one too.
Tonnes of ailens? Use a few marines, nice shooting.
Tonnes of marines? Use a few (or one) predator(s), like spinter cell/halo and predator combined.
Tonnes of predators? You know what they say, if you can’t beat ‘em join ‘em (or something like that) Or, in the words of a french man: Si vous ne pouvez pas les battre, s’enfuir. Please correct that if it is wrong (even though it shouldn’t be).

Excuse any spelling mistakes. And use google translate.

Oh! And a last thing. Don’t be afraid to stand in front of an enemy blocking for ages. They will eventually make the first move so you can stop ‘em. Just remember the look during an attack. Hold the block for a light(which may catch you out of suprise so no worries there) and for a heavy you will see that small charge up, so you put in a light attack there.

hi guys does it sometimes anoy you that the best species (predator) in the game has such a short lunge attack well here’s what to do:
if you want to lunge further at a marinie activate your heat vision then lock-on to it and you’ll see the outline for a lunge and then,lunge
