Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing On Sale Now!
All the characters in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing
Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is in stores today! To celebrate, we’ve got a launch trailer for you. 
I’ve been playing the game a lot, and I can tell you that it’s totally fun. I don’t think it’s a great idea to advertise the game is in stores today when there’s an extremely high chance no one will be able to find it since most retailers won’t be selling it until tomorrow.
This is one of the main reasons why customers get confused with ship/release dates and end up getting angry with stores and publishers for not having the game on the first day. SEGA is promoting you can purchase the game both here and on the game’s site however after checking with 5 stores, (3 of which were different chains) all told me the game won’t be out until tomorrow.
Understandably different territories will receive games at different times, I’m on the East Coast so it very well be different for others in the Mid West or Western states but I don’t think it is helpful to the consumer to broadcast a game is out until there is a 100% chance ALL of the U.S. will have it out for sale.
There isn’t this confusion with movies, music or other media releases, why is that video games can’t be as simple? I want to know who started the whole “ship” date, it’s more helpful and clearer to announce the “sale” date so people know when to actually buy it and keep the ship dates to publishers, distributers and retailers.

This blog lied to us, i went to gamestop, best buy, and toys r us and they all said the game will be available on thursday.

sega i have been waiting for this since summer.SUMMER!!! and then gamestop and toysrus tell me it is not out until tomorrow. That hurt… alot

I just realized Phantasy Star / PSO / PSU is wholly unrepresented in this game.
Hopefully, they’ll put in something in as DLC later.

I called Gamestop and asked them if they have the game, they said it will be on sale tomorrow but they will only have 2 copies for each ofthe systems it comes out with.
Sega has really botched this released, they should feel ashamed.

Wow Sega’s done it again. Remember trying to find a VMU (Visual Memory Unit) for the dreamcast? They seem to have a flare for making really cool things and then not sending any to the stores. Epic fail.

I’m gonna get this someday soon, but I have to say something that dissapointed me through the demo.
IF it’s true then the Demo showed me all the stages in the game, I have to say it’s a disappointment that there aren’t stages for Shenmue, Space channel 5, Crazy Taxi, plenty of other series that are in this game but don’t have a stage after them.
Such a shame. Now if that wasn’t all the stages, then maybe there’s hope.

Tails, Amy, one of the mouse thingies from Chu Chu Rocket, Billy Hatcher (I liked Rolly Roll better, but Billy’s nice too), and and that guy from Shenmue who’s name I could never remember despite my fond memories of that game; All in one game!
I might have to see about getting this game. Or if nothing else, at least renting it. Or maybe begging my university gameroom to get it and contribute a bit to its funds. That’d be awesome.

Feb 26, I am in Montreal, Canada, and, still, the game is nowhere to be found..
Nobody in any store can explain, they just say they don’t have it yet. No date.
What is happening? When will the game be available?

Hey I just wanted to say I played this game so much I love it. I have to say I wish 2 player online was available but I love online enough with one player but I have 2 say this game is really good. Honestly Mario Kart Wii & This game to me is equal. But MARIO KART will always be my favorite… MARIO ROCKS. But this game is so cool. U should check out.
