Last month, we did a Q&A with Joe Amaro, who makes Sonic toys at Jazwares. It was so successful, that Joe’s volunteered for another round! I’ve been REALLY wanting one of those small Sonic Jazwares toys, with the big heads. I’m afraid I might break one. Are they built to be posed, or are they just in one position?

Hello there, I just wanted to ask you if you guys at Jazwares are planning to do a special set of Sega game characters and such, like Sonic and SEGA All-Star characters like Bonanza Bros, Nights, Samba Di Amigo, or even some sonic toys and such sometime. Cause that would be EX-CELLENTE!

I really like the Sonic Figures. But what about the characters that were left out?
Like…. Fang,Blaze,Mighty,Bean,Bark,Chaotix,Sonic 1/2/3 badniks,ect.
At least make them have there own figures instead of Sonic having all the fame. :p

Helpppp. When i plan sonic all star racing I cannot get a second wii controller to work, it just keeps shutting off when I start two player games. What can i do?

1. Will you be re-releasing the Super Poser Super Sonic as a proper Super Sonic and not just a repainted Sonic?
2. Is there any chance we’ll see some of the more obscure classic characters like Metal Knuckles and Fang?
3. It’s great that you guys are fixing all the figure errors, but why are they going out with errors in the first place? Why aren’t they being thoroughly tested for things like that?
4. Any time frame on when the figures will hit stores like Wal Mart?
5. Finding a carrier is hard around these areas. Will there ever be a way to order figures directly from Jazwares?

I was just curious as to how many 3.75 inch figures you guys are going to make. and also if you guys are planning on creating your own version of the sonic and shadow super posers like you did for knuckles. And lastly is a 10 inch sonic going to be created to go alongside the metal sonic figure or was that just an exclusive? and also if it’s possible to get the figure in more stores like Wal-mart and Target because where i live they only sell them at toys r us and they run out of stock VERY quickly.

I’m kind of curious about the chance that SEGA will let you make figures based on the retro Sonic line (I doubt it, but who knows). That and other than Super Sonic (as well as Amy, Big, and Eggman), what other characters are going to be released as figures?

1) I know you love you’re see through/clear figures IS CHAOS 0 IN YOUR MINDS?? HE’D BE AWESOME!
2) I think i speak for a majority when I ask will MIGHTY THE ARMADILLO get a release i know ull say the ‘modern’ answer but if you look on other sites he and FANG/NACK are definite fan wish lists for the 3 inch line.
3) In you’re last Q & A we saw your desk with numerous sonic related items (including BIG figure lucky man!) but I couldnt help but see you had a stack of the ARCHIE comics (SONIC THE HEDGEHOG & SONIC UNIVERSE) do you, or rather WILL YOU in future ever consider bringing characters from those comics onto the 3 inch line? I speak for many when I say Sally should get a release (this question should please AQUASLASH)
4) If the answer is yes to comic characters please please please consider the FLEETWAY characters my god in heaven for a SHORTFUSE THE CYBERNIK – TEKNO THE CANARY – JOHNNY LIGHTFOOT – PORKER LEWIS & TURBO 3 inch figures

Joe,
1. First and foremost. SUPER SONIC 3-INCH FIGURE. Release date? Prototype art? Possibility of SUPER SHADOW, SUPER SILVER and BURNING BLAZE? Considering the hype and how long it’s been requested, I expect 3-inch Super Sonic to be ONE OF, IF NOT THE MOST, HIGH-QUALITY ENTREE IN THE 3-INCH LINE.
2. ARCHIE LICENSING FOR FIGURES. Be honest, what is the possibility here? I would think characters like Sally Acorn and co. could merit better sales then lesser known gaming characters.
3. ACCESSORIES, PLAYSETS AND VEHICLES. Again, is this something we can expect in the future?
4. ARE ALL TWO-PACKS GOING TO INCLUDE A VARIANT OF SONIC? From what I heard the original Metal Sonic 3-inch was supposedly going to be packaged with Amy. Now instead Amy, like Metal Sonic, is going to be released with the THIRD Sonic toss-in to occur in the line. How many Sonics are we going to be getting here? I can understand stretching the line but this is getting a little silly.

Hi Joe, Im a follower on the toynewsi site, and a huge lover of sonic anyway, I really would like to know when we will see the 3 inch super sonic hit the shelves?, and also if you are producing a super shadow, and super silver? I really like the super versions of the characters and I think it would be wicked cool to be able to display my characters with their super forms beside them. Of course the super forms would need to have dynamic pose-ability and these little stands you have included with the recent waves are pure genius. I would definitely opt for the “super trio” (Super sonic, shadow and silver), as well as accessories for the characters? Nothing too serious, maybe just like a small chaos emerald with its own stand that can be found in the sonic comic 2 packs to collect all 7 etc.

Dear Mr. Amaro, I am 14 years old and I love your sonic the hedgehog figures, my favorites are silver, metal sonic, and shadow, and I can’t wait for Espio, Vector, and Super Sonic! I have a request: could you please make 3 inch figures of Chaos zero, Jet the hawk, and Omega? I am sure kids would like them, also these would be good for collectors. I also have a question will Espio, Vector, and Super Sonic be in 3 inch scale?

Its so cool to see this being done again. I guess I might as well throw out the idea of Making a Ryo hazuki figure for the Sonic and the sega all stars racing line. BUT the much more likely figures id like to see next are, blaze, the Chaotix being Vector, Espio, and charmy. Then of course theres SUPER SONIC which every one wants really badly. A much better one with a new sculpt for the 3 inch line in comparison to the super poser.
ALSO, Im unsure how successful it was, but one of the HALO 3 TOY LINES created toy pack’s of multiple weapons from the game and accessories. An accessory pack I guess. Could the same be done with sonic? Rings, emeralds, the master emerald, Ring box’s a little toy replica spring? As a possibility.

I have every single figure you guyd ever made except one. It is the knuckles super poser. I check for him! Also I emailed you guys and asking for a silver figure. A week or 2 later I walked into Toys R Us and found him! I have some questions and comments.

Whoa, I’m like, a HUGE fan of your Sonic toys, I love every one of them!! I especially can’t wait for Super Sonic, Espio, and Vector!! I really want Big the Cat so bad, when will Big come out, same with Eggman?
Plus, here are characters that I desperately wanted for 3 inches. Sonic toys collection…
1. Bean the Dynamite, I TOTALLY loves him, he was in Sonic the Fighters. I could DO anything just to have him being created as 3 inches sized toy… He’s my second favorite Sonic character to me!! Please make him!!
2. Bark the Polarbear, he was so awesome.
3. Fangs the Weasel,!
4. Blaze the Cat, PLEASE!!

Just a idea, if you are planning to do 3 toys of a line for 3 inches, please do one for ‘Sonic the Fighters’ Line, which could have Bean, Bark, and Fangs, because all of them were in that game.
And, for Sonic/Sega All-stars Racing, I only have two suggestions to come up with… Please make Billy Hatcher and Big the Cat!
Billy Hatcher’s like, my most second favorite Sega game of all the time (Sonic is first!)! Big is my biggest favorite Sonic character, ever.
Please do it for fans and me!! OH, and Bean the Dynamite as Super Poser, please. Or is that too much to ask for? Sorry… I love Bean the Dynamite a lot…

I didn’t read through whats already asked so I’ll probably be asking a few questions again:
1. will figures be made based on characters from Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (IE: BADNIKS???)
2. I have personally skipped out on the 3 inch all-star racer figures, but I would snatch up an Eggman set in a heartbeat! any chance of seeing him get a release in the 3inch line?
3. any chance we can see the Eggmobile in the 3 inch line at all?
4. are there any plans to release sets bigger then the 2 packs (IE Sonic Heroes sets, like Team Sonic, Team Dark, Team Chaotix, etc).
5. I saw the Amy Rose figure the other day! very nice, but will she see a single release, maybe packed with a certain Hammer?
6. are there any Sonic Characters, items, etc that SEGA has said outright are off limits to be made? I ask because said item, character, whatever may have fans with false hope.

IF you made a 10 inch classic sonic figure id buy 5 of them, make 5 inch classic sonic figure Ill buy 10 of them make 3 inch classic sonic figures ill buy 20 im a huge classic sonic fan and demand good figures of him that move because no classic sonic figure has moving parts except for the 1991 sonic bendy which I have 2 of and currently buying more as I see them.

Okay,so,have you heard of the tails doll? He’s a robot of tails, but diffrent than the other robots ‘CAUSE HE’S A DOLL OF COUSE! Look it up on google images. It’s the one that doesn’t really look like tails, and has a red gem coming out of it’s head. He only appears in Sonic R. Guess Robotnic made a robot of tails after all. I have been unable to get to Toys R Us in the past year of 2012 and I had been hearing that Blaze and Charmy have been released. I have a few requests on what sonic characters to make such as Tikal you should make her in a pack with chaos 0 and the 3 types of chao like what you did with big the cat and froggy. I was also wondering if you will make the team packs from sonic heroes like the team chaotix pack figures. You should also make another metal sonic but with an item.
