Conduit 2- A Message from High Voltage SoftwareIn our ongoing effort to bring you closer to our games, Eric Nofsinger, Chief Creative Officer of High Voltage Software has provided us with some insight into the development process behind Conduit 2. Eric has been kind enough to also send along two new screenshots of our upcoming game. Please enjoy this special blog: With the first Conduit we spent a lot of time establishing a brand new first person shooter engine, with advanced technology for the hardware, while creating a brand new IP at the same time. It really was a lot for the team to handle at one time. At various points throughout the development of C1 we would discover something new about the technology, build a new graphics feature, and then have to make hard decisions as to whether or not we had time to rework existing art content to take better advantage of the latest features. Our art direction in general was also held back by our decision not to explore more exotic locations, and we also never really took our alien technology as far as it could go. The result was a game that is fun to play and is solid overall, but never quite manages to excite its audience with inspired visions of a darkly futuristic world that’s being torn apart by aliens. This time, when approaching art direction for Conduit 2 we’ve made sure never to build anything into our game that we ourselves aren’t completely excited about making. And unlike the first game (which had limited concept art), practically every location in Conduit 2 was conceptualized, and then those designs have been scrutinized and reworked, until we truly believe that we are choosing the most inspired locations for our game. We’re designing spaces that players will want to fight in! And we’re not restricting ourselves to one city in a single part of the world. Conduit 2 spans the entire globe, and we have created far more interesting locations as battlefields for our game.
Our lighting system has also been improved so that characters look more realistic (by the way, every screenshot that’s on the web still features the old character lighting system). And one of the most significant differences between Conduit 1 & 2 is our engine’s portal system, plus some texture streaming improvements, which allow for more detailed geometry and texture detail in every room. This improvement has probably made the most impact on the look and feel of Conduit 2, because not only can the game’s graphics be more detailed, but it also allows us to build some significantly improved level designs from what we had in the first game. We’re doing whatever it takes to make Conduit 2 the very best that it can be because we love the game and our audience. There’s a lot more that we still want to accomplish with this game before it ships, and fortunately we still have time to execute on our initial goal to build a game that fully realizes our vision of the Conduit world. We truly hope when you finally get the chance to play the game that you like what you play, hear, and see.

Love it. Can wait to see your updated engine in the works. All I request is a Rag Doll effect with the enemies so I can see them fly when I blast them

So basically, this game’s gonna be awesome, and we need these guys to go over to Infinity Ward/Activision (whoever does the graphics for the CoD games on Wii) and slap some sense into them. I mean, the graphics in CoD 2 PC at almost max settings look better than the Wii’s graphics, and meanwhile, we get the same framerate on a great looking game with C1. I can’t wait for C2!
@ John: Yeah, I was really surprised in the first game at the lack of an even basic physics engine. The Wii’s proven that it can handle a small amount of physics objects along with excellent shaders and lighting effects in The Force Unleashed. Why not implement that here?

The last game’s online was REALLY fun, but it got repetitive. More weapon set variety would be MUCH appreciated. The explosive weapon set also bugged me. HVS needs to take it out or make it hard and difficult to select or else every other match I join will still be explosive.

I would agree with everything that you’re saying but the only thing the game lacks is that the online and the story have not much reason to play it after u play it once or twice and i would like the achievement system to be more interactive with the actual gaming. More detailed landscapes and enemies would be good and also better AI than the first game, also the online player count is very little, only 12 i would like it to go at least 24 and the waiting times for online games to be shorter. There are no cutscenes in the first conduit so maybe that could also change.

also needs some real life military guns for the multiplayer modes.can you also tone down the muzzel flash from the guns , it makes it had to keep track of my sight on the screen.

I loved the first one so much, it was truly amazing with perfect controls and a beautiful storyline, the only reason why I didn’t like it was because of the lack of multiplayer, I wanted a great FPS (*cough-not-red-steel-cough*) that I could play with 3 friends in the same room as me and I could only play with my friends online, which meant that they had to have: a Wii, a copy of THE CONDUIT and a decent Wi-Fi connection! MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT!
I hope you really work on getting the local multiplayer sorted because me and my friends are begging on our knees and crying for a good decent multiplayer for Wii! If you have any trouble looking for examples of how the multiplayer screen should work and be layed-out then you should check out the shooting mini-game on SUPER MONKEY BALLS: BANANA BLITZ on Wii, yes I know it sounds stupid, but that mini-game is what shooting RPG’s should be like, I know it not perfect but what do you expect from a mini-game! I would finally like to ask that you don’t take out any of the multiplayer modes for online and offline, I think a couple more might seal the deal for a few awards! E.g.: A co-op version of story mode for 2 players (four would be too hectic). Hope this helps, Jst

Few suggestions:
1)Make online more “hacker-proof”!!!!!The first conduit got hacked a few days within release. Then before i knew it,every game had a hacker.PLEASE fix this and BAN those hackers in C2!!!!!
2)Please,NOOOOO explosive weapon sets…PLEASE
3)Lower the time it takes to join a game.
4)Fix wii speak. You cant talk to your friends when you/them die,and thats hella annoying in shooting games.
5)A few new original game modes that no other shooter has
6)Customizeable armor
7)longer online names/clan tag support
8)EPIC sized maps;aka, more strategy in this war game
9)Maybe a mode where its Drudge VS Humans?
10)Swords
11)Different types of drudge for online, not just 1 skin
12)Preorderers get even more gifts, and in game stuff for ONLY the preorderers (so a personal preorder code to get special armor in multiplayer perhaps?)
13)Last one…DLC!!!!!!!!

(Continued from comment No. 10) I don’t know what everyone’s complaining about, I LOVE the explosions, if you’re gonna change them then you might as well tone it strength of the blast or the blast radius a little bit but in my opinion the explosions are fine!
And you please don’t add and melee weapons (like swords, yes I’m looking at you FalcoVet101 from comment 11), it would ruin the game, if people wanna melee they should get Red Steel 2! Just keep it a strictly run and gun with a bit of fun with the ASE! Thanks, Josh

hey High voltage and sega, keep up the good work
i still play TC1 even though i have halo 3 and mw2 on my 360, i was so exited for the first game and i was not let down. i see some great suggestions for this game however the only thing i think really needs to be remade is the online multiplayer, i found there were to many hackers, and the authenticating process took far to long. also i hope you guys fix the pesky “spawn-in-the-wall” glitch. Great work you guys and i am a guarenteed customer to your next game, heck im even buying it before halo reach.
GREAT JOB GUYS
Cre8ive65
p.s. i love how you guys incorperated features like alo reach such as loadouts, armor abilities, and customization

Hey HVS! Great to hear your focusing more on the uniqueness and putting more inspiration into the concept art.
However, one thing I definitely think you guys should work on is keeping the online bug/hacker/lag free. When I say improve the online I am not referring to the amount of features or the actual design of the online modes themselves- that was done nicely. I am simply referring to how well the online works. In the Conduit 1, I got very mixed results online, with friends-only matches being fun and problem free and yet whenever I would join a global/regional match with strangers, it took far too long to connect, the rounds had very unstable framerates and were full of lag, often times I received the infamous spawn glitch, and at times the match would have hackers.
All I’m saying is adding new features to the online and improving the game’s campaign is a great idea and will keep the game fresh and sequel worthy, but the main thing that will excite the audience and fans of the first Conduit game would be to hear that you guys are polishing up the online mode in more ways than one.
Thanks for reading.

CG cut scenes needs to be added in as well.

All I need is a good old fashioned online shooter. Customizability welcomed.
I don’t know how you are going to fix the hacker problem but it needs to be fixed. A kick system is all you need. If one player is a hacker, another player could initialize a vote to kick and the game could test weather or not the guy’s stats match up with the other player’s stats. If not, players would vote and BOOT! They’re gone.
More weapon set variety would also be good. You kept it safe with the last weapon sets. NO MORE EXPLOSIVE. Only one set had the warp pistol in it, none had the shrieker, hive cannon or carbonizer. Instead it was all powerful but boring guns in all of the sets.
Again, NO MORE EXPLOSIVE WEAPON SET.
plus, leveling up and upgrading is a good idea for replay vale but no weapon upgrades please. Loadouts would be good but better guns means imbalance toward the higher players. Instead, give upgrades to physical or armour abilities, like halo reach. A sprint ability, deployable sheild or the ever-awesome jetpack would be cool additions to the multiplayer. Just don’t give out weapon upgrades.
Just my two cents.

I enjoyed the first one, it is just the online stuff. In the second one hackers NEED to be delt with, i am tired of people like that.
I agree with Nick, GET RID OF EXPLOSIVES!!!!!
They are SO cheap
Also a good feature would to be able to leave a game before it starts, like when you see everyone getting authenticated, give the ability to leave. WITHOUT turning off or restarting the system

Hey, big fan of the first game already super hyped for this one it seems you’re really focusing on split-screen +story which is great, but me and my brother love playing together online and since you already have split-screen and (obviously) online, Would it be possible to implement split-screen competitive online so me and my brother can kick butt together?
Posted by Freeman on May 15th, 2010 at 7:24 pm
Comment # 24
I agree with Freeman. My little bro and I love FPS’s, and online split screen competitive would ROCK! And don’t say its impossible, because Mariokart has it. My list of obvious/subtle improvements:
- Option to leave match during the “Authenticating” process
- shorter time needed to enter an online match
- CG cut scenes
- No more “bunny hopping”! It’s why I can’t stand “Near-Far” with the SPAS-12. I know in some FPS’s, you can only jump every X amount of seconds.
- no more wall spawn glitch. also, i know you can’t prevent it all, but please try to address hacking. It’s SOOO easy to do in Tcon1, it’s pathetic.
I am aware of some previously confirmed updates, such as a sprint button, better environments, LADDERS, etc…GREAT! Perks would be nice (i.e., 3 kill streaks gets you a temporary armor increase, 5 kills gets you something to the effect of the “care package”, 10 gets you a sentry gun, etc..)
I am waiting in eager anticipation for C2! I know it’ll be great! Keep up the hard work, HVS!

Play Conduit one at least an hour a day and love it.
I’d like to tell what I think would make the sequel great
1)When i’m playing the game and i’m under fire theres barely any cover add more cover.
2)All the maps are symmetrical sometimes confusingand unrealistic
3)Better Storyline
4)Less insane conspiracy stuff
5)Some say the explosive sets should be taken out but i disagree what you should do is set up a vetoe system like halo where the rules are automatically determined and players vote to make it change rules if they dont want to play it. So there is more variety in matches instead of rocket marathon on streets every game.
6)Hackers need to be dealt with.
7)The mites with the high pitched yells and made me feel like I was playing a little kid game. They should be threatning. Love there battle screech though.
7)Some smaller maps
8)More players go for 16 that’s good enough.
9)Vehicles would be great for multiplayer.
10)Faster shield recharge!
The first was a great game so make number 2 even better!

First of all I will like to thank you for making the conduit , I love that game. Ever since I have got the game I cant stop talking about it It is really really good. For Conduit 2 it would be great if we could add friends without the stupid friend codes which I hate with a passion, It would be great just to add people who you have played with to your friends list.
I am really excited about the 4 players mode, it sounds like it is going to be badass. And the hackers need to be dealt with in some manners. There have been dozens of online matches where a stupid hacker would ruin a killing streak and just ruin the game for everyone.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING A GREAT FIRST PERSON SHOOTER FOR THE WII WITH ONLINE SUPPORT, GREAT CONTROLS, GREAT AND UNIQUE WEAPONS, GOOD STORY AND FOR GIVING US THE WII OWNERS THE BEST CONTROLS FOR A FIRST PERSON SHOOTER.
AND BY THE WAY NINTENDO SHOULD BE THANKING YOU FOR MAKING SUCH A GREAT GAME FOR THEIR CONSOLE!!!!!!!!

1-How’s about some vehicles?
2-Adress hacking problems
3-Tone down damage w/ explosives
4-Make campaign longer, say, 13 levels.
5-Add option to get new map packs with wii points
6-Make a game/wii speak bundle so more people have the wii speak.
7-Make swords… but why not throw in motionplus support a la Redsteel 2?
Thanks!

I have only one major issue with the first game that is not a glitch or an exploit. That would have to be the LOCK ON. PLEASE get rid of the lock on, at least for the Multiplayer. Having lock on is basically admitting that the Wii remote is crap for controlling FPS games. If the Conduit 2 truly has the best controls ever for even just a console FPS, there should be no need for a lock on. If this game has lock on in Multiplayer, I wont be purchasing.

Hey i loved The Conduit i played it for moths but i have some ideas for both single player and multiplayer.
) or maybe DLC!!!!!
First of single player, i liked the theme of the game but i hope and strongly suggest making it more cinematic and with more action lower limitations, and a very strong and lengthy campaign maybe co-op? and i’d be so psyched if you guys add the cinematic part so the game can feel intense and make you drop your jaw and say woow!
i know it’s not the rite time or place to say this or appropriate in any manner but i think you guys might have competition with Call of Duty Black Ops since their studio is promising a strong campaign that will blow Wii owners away and were not gonna believe this game is running on the Wii, their also promising a great online co-op and just multiplayer their even negotiating with nintendo for either the lack of Friend codes or Wii speak (which you guys have that down already

FOR my multiplayer ideas i think you guys are way ahead and plus its going to be unique because co-op online in my knowledge, i have not seen a game that had thay capability can’t wait to see how that’s going to work out.
The only things i BEG of you guys and HIGHLY RECOMEND! is the support of the Classic Controller Pro and can you guys make at least the human guns able to have ADS or IS whatever its called (AIM DOWN SIGHT, or IRON SIGHT)
and also if you guys can negotiate with Nintendo about the Wii Friend codes and DLC
oh and finnaly better matchmaking please with your choice of picking your primary and secondary gun

oh yeah another great thing to make it more better is the particle effects like if i shoot a light bulb i expect lightz out or if i shoot a lamp or a vase i expect it to shatter and in battle if im shooting near by trash cans i expect paper and trash flying everywhere if their shot at other wise its not realistic kinda dull and everything just sits their (kinda boring) but im hoping you guys can fix that and once again CINEMATIC campaign

The first game rocked. But the story was not as good AS the online. i think that there should be a bigger amount of people online and more open locations. One thing that bugged me was that somehow people got these automatic missile launchers and destroyed everyone. it would be cool if when you shot someone with a rocket they flew back or something instead of just falling. italian would also be sweet if the Ai were smarter.

3 major problems with the multiplayer in 1C.
1) took way too long to join in a multiplayer game.
2) players have way too much life. took like 2 clips to kill someone.
3) most of the time when i finally do get in a game i get this dumb glitch that makes me unable to move.
PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

You guys are doing a great job, thank you so much for that, but if you add these THREE MORE THINGS, I promise that your game will immediately become 100% better:
1) bots for split-screen multiplayer
2) slow-motion option/cheat for single & multiplayer
3) dodge-able projectiles
Those three things added HUNDREDS of hours of gameplay value to Perfect Dark for me and all my friends. The option for bots, especially, is what made Perfect Dark better than Goldeneye. KEEP THAT IN MIND! Slow motion turns the game into a whole different kind of game, essentially DOUBLING the amount of potential fun available. And, there’s nothing more thrilling than dodging a projectile (like a throwing-knife).
Again, thank you so much for making this game. You guys are doing a great job. I wish I could give every one of you a high five.

i think that conduit 1 was so exciting but i hate the time it takes to get into online matches and in online game it was so slow, and my connection to the internet is fast. For example: call of duty reflex runs perfect with my connection. I hope that won’t happen on conduit 2 online, and know let’s talk about the online arsenal:
1.-what about swords, well i say because you’re going to implement the motion plus. So why not?
2.-and know and important aspect: the vehicles, will be? that will make this game unforgettable
3.-and the HACKERS, oh that guys, i hate them, but i can understand that every game has hackers but the 1st Conduit had so many.
4.-and about the maps: why don’t put some maps like a pack on the online (obviously at a price, wii points) and save them in a SD card, that’s the way to have more maps IN WHICH you can work ON after RELEASING the game. And that’s a way to keep your fans alive playing this great game.
5.-and please, I BEG, forget the friend codes, and let us talk (or at least chat) with people around the world (you know, obviously after add he or she as a friend but by sending a friend request like monster hunter tri) and after adding them let us talk with them with the headset.
6.-Now what about new weapons? I know that you’re going to add some more, but why don’t adding a lot? because that’s how your game is going to be the best game on wii.
7.- I’m sure that you know the wii is considered the worst platform of all, your game is a kind of game that can show the potential of the wii, so please don’t let us down.
8.-Make the maps bigger than the first game please.
“I’m Not a sonier nor a xboy” i have a wii and i gonna buy an xbox too but that doesn’t mean that i wont play or buy wii games. I think the wii is the best platform to play FPS.
ANd I love your game i like the first one, and i hope the second will be better.
NOw work guys, don’t let us down.

Now, I know that this will probably go overlooked, but i have a few requests that would make the gameplay more intense;
Add strafing, it’ll make moving your character around more interactive and acctually make it feel like your there instead of bunny-hopping around someone. Make the four player co-op a base and make it so that the enemys don’t die when shot in the head, these are aliens, their brain could be anywhere. Maybe down-grade the Carbonizer, or if that would cause to many fans to get upset give weapons upgrades that are kept online and offline.
For now this is all I can think of, so chirp ya’ll later.

Really I would like to say so many things about this game. Mainly, sorry to say, TCON 1 was not ready to be released to the public, in my opinion, this game should have been a beta. And I will make a VERY long list why.
1. Glitchers and “Hackers”- I say “Hackers” like that because these people aren’t hacking, all they are doing is activating codes that is already in the game for them only. Thats not hacking, thats being an annoying little 12 child who ruins games for people. Glitching was just stupid because HVS left them in the game then told people about it…really HVS.
2. Noobish nade spamming frags.- frag gernades that explode on contact? wow. then on top of that when you are the person being naded, most of the time you can’t even see the gernade being thrown at you. A MAYJOR bug that needs to be fixed, is that when you jump and throw gernades quickly, you can throw all SIX spamming frags, in what, like 3 seconds? Speaking of spamming noobs, I ussualy quit the match when I see people do nothing but use that, jump, throw a frag, then shoot with shotgun quickly bug.
3. Flash bangs- the most 110% stupidiest thing that I have ever seen on a video game. They blind you the same amount time no matter how far you are from them, you dont need to be looking at it to blind you, AND THEY BLIND YOU THROUGH WALLS? ….WOW
4. Over powered shotgun- the shotgun has wwwaaayyy too much ranged damage on this game.
5. Over powered pistol- a PISTOL, that kills with THREE headshots, holds 18 rounds, and can shoot as fast as you can press the trigger? yea…..
6.lock on system- get rid of it. I know people that use the auto center and then lock on, its stupid, noobish and annoying. Locking on without auto centering is stupid.
7.Too semetrical levels, annoying. Make the levels more like MW2. 8.God Aweful servers. Most of the time I just freeze when I join a game and can’t do anything. It takes FOREVER to join a game online. Laggiest servers I have ever played in.
9.Trust weapons were absolutely amazing! Much much more trust weapons. and drudge…
10. Human weapons. there are so many more weapons than that….use them.
11. Bi-peds can pass through others. This makes close combat such a pain.
12. Melee needs to have distance to it, you know like a little dash.
13.Jumping needs to have less height, and slower jump speeds. 14. The campagin was terrible….sorry.
15.Things that I know are in the second one and like, perks/abilities, choose the weapons you spawn with, can talk to anyone with Wii Speak, Nintendo is coming out with a headset ear piece for Wii, you can add anyone with friend code exchange to your allies list, 4 player online play on the same Wii (I think), 4 player co-op offline and vs. (splitscreen) 4 player co-op online. and much more. I hope that I haven’t lead people to believe that I hated TCON, because I don’t, I just think that it had much more potential. My TCON name is IRO, as it will be in the second one, which ill be getting the day it comes out.

why i love and hate The Conduit, an what i am looking forward to in conduit2.
)
Love
1) it revived some of my favorite games like HALO, but still kept it fresh with a conspiracy twist
2)it took advantage of what D.C. looked like.
3)the A.S.E.
4)more online players than call of duty(waw and modern warfare).
5)trust weapons. extremely fun to play (my personal favorite (deatomizer mk4)
6)the advanced weapons (except smaw) made the multiplayer alive. it makes you forget about hakers(damn them)
dislikes and dissapointments
1)the bugs and glitches took the fun away from multiplayer
2)hacking was my least favorite.everyone hacker i see puts it on explosive weapon set uses a rapid fire SMAW noobtoobs every one and puts a speedhack on and runs around like a F*%&ing idiot.
3)the singleplayer graphics where good but multiplayer graphics sucked especialy the lag.
things im looking forward to in conduit2
1) WAY BETER GRAPHICS it looks a littel bit like a next gen game (AWSOME
2) SPLITSCREAN MODE FTW. me my dad and my lil bro love playin splitscreen on HALO and this will be even more fun to us.
3) more weapons HELL YES. i love mp5 scar and deatomizer, but the phaze rifle and deatomizer looks so origional.
4)YOU CAN TROW OBJECTS FOR COVER this will come in handy in open areas. tip over a vending machine to use as cover.
5)im totaly stoked for multiplayer. edit character wepons perks ect.
hey i still play conduit but conduit 2 is a big improvement. keep up the good work

Theres a video on youtube of an interview with saying that there are still hacks in TCON 2. sigh….
Also, I’m pretty sure that there is 2 players allowed to play on the same Wii (splitscreen) while playing online. I got this from a different interview. Quote, “everything you can do via wi-fi connection, you can do splitscreen.” In a way, it sounds like you could. I cant post the link because I’m posting this from my wii. but just google, The conduit 2 online splitscreen

Of course, one of the things i loved most about the first game was the plot, the intrigue, and the setting of D.C. that was so perfect for that. What wondering now is, how will C2 move on from that. With an apparent world-setting, what direction will the plot take? Will it lose the conspiracy aspect for a straight alien-invasion shooter? And what happens to Agent Ford? I guess I’ll need to buy it and play through to find out, eh?

So to be realistic, many people are considering buying one fps out of the Conduit 2, GoldenEye remake, and Call of Duty Black Ops. I think one thing that could convince people to purchase the Conduit 2 over the other games would be Co-op campaign and being able to to take 2 players online on one console so you and a buddy could have some online fun. I know this would convince most people to purchase the Conduit 2 over any other wii shooter out on the market.

You nedd to be able to change weapons faster, it takes way to long. You could just reload during that time. (really importent for online combat)

i think u guys r doing pretty good, but lessen the time to wait for matchmaking and add map packs that can only be bought with wii points. Try to be as creative as possible with ur weapons and enemies. let us be able to talk to anybody on our team. Try to make expansive maps for more strategy. Add vechicles since it will be fun for veterans and newcomers alike. Maybe a sword could help( not necessary). So far u guys r doing a great job. Just giving these suggestions so ur game is not considered an average game but an fps that will go down in history for the wii. In fact, u might beat Activision’s Goldeneye

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING NEEDED BACK ON THIS GAME is the voice actor of micheal ford and promeathus and maybe a duel weild guns like pistols and warp pistols and to have more selections of grenades and NO MORE HACKERS PLEASE and maybe some hand to hand combat but no swords i mean really cool but is that going to work and lets see a detination timer on the frag grenades and to keep the conspiricy theroy thing its really great and maybe have an option to keep the old armor from the first game and for a cover put some aliens in the backround other wise it looks like a halo ripoff and the conduit is far from that ummm and a quicker reload for the shot gun and more extensive alien wepons and what the look of the damage done to the target and yeah the friend codes are a pain next there should be the option of selecting your own wepon set in multipler online and offline and i think thats just about all i can think of right now OH WAIT AND JOHN ADAMS voice actor to come back as well

So you guys *are* doing downloadable patches, which is awesome. You *are* circumventing the friend code, which is super-awesome. And you *are* creating oodles of customizable features. But you’ll throw it all away if you don’t create a party system. That’s how communities are built! (Think Halo 2)

Only a few things i’d like to see in conduit 2 (execpt for things there already doing that I know of):
1:Sniper rifles (although i guess the strike rifle was an ok one if you charged it)
2:Higher online player count
3:Maybe a game mode like zombies (Halo 3)
4: Possible vehicles, maybe an option for online would be vehicles:enable/disable
5:Co-op missions (not a co-op campaign, Think Uncharted 2)
If you can get a high enough player count it would be cool to have a battlefield like conquest mode

One more thing; Because you pick your primary and secondary i see alot of people picking smaw/tpc/other explosive. To stop that from happening you could make it so that you’d have to find those weapons, or just end up giving them a small amount of ammo (ie: 3 rounds for smaw)

Hey you guys should add a feature which makes it possible to vote people out. That way when people hack the game, everybody in the room can pause and vote to keep or get rid of certain people. There would have to be a minimal vote before someone was kicked out, but on the C1 the hackers got really annoying really fast.

ADS: I’d love it if i could aim down the sights instead of locking on.
Sprint: Always nice to be able to get out of danger looking cool than die hopping.
Hardcore: some form of gameplay that has reduced health or higher bullet damage… kinda like call of duty.
Better survival: a game mode where you only get one life. Really adds to suspense.

I loved the 1st one. I cant wait for this to come out. I hope there are ALOT of multipliplayer modes. I want more the capture the flag and team reaper. maybe a defending mode. like in “metroid prime hunters.’ you and your team must defend a certain area for a set time limit. who which ever team meats the time limit first is the winner. I would also enjoy the return of some stages from the 1st one for multiplayer. Like the pentagon and streets. Along with MASSIVE new stages. But in C1 one thing ruined the multiplayer for me: glitchers. I hope you guys tighten up all the glitches because a rapid firing roacket launcher is nearly impossible to defeat. But i cant wait for this!

People will find ways to cheat with them, like camping at a high elevation. no swords. the explosives shouldnt be taken out. for online people should get to make their own weapon set kinda like mw. maybe look through good fps games and take some ideas. combining features will make a masterpiece that could beat both halo and mw. online needs fixing. this good will be good, keep up the good work.

READ!! Jet packs will pack it easier for people to cheat. People will camp more and it will get boring. No jet packs. No swords either, the game is an fps not samurai warriors. The explosives should be kept. People should be able to customize their weapon sets like Modern warfare. Try looking through successful fps games and combine them into conduit. Combining features can make it a master piece that could beat both Modern Warfare and Halo. Conduit 1 was awesome, it just had problems with the multiplayer which is the biggest reason why people buy the game. Make the multiplayer really good, but also focus on making the campaign better. If you guys could, also make it compatible with a gamecube controller so i dont have to buy more wii controlllers. Don’t limit too much on the communication in Conduit 2. Don’t stay off topic off the story, continue the story from Conduit 1. Keep the personality and characteristics of the main characters in the first game. You guys did really good on Conduit , but it couldve been better. Now make Conduit 2 the best fps! Keep up the good work!

This game looks incredible. I was wondering if you could add following CPUs that are on your side, like the UNSC in Halo, or the Marines in Metroid prime 3, that way, i can feel very tactical and protective about the reinforcements. Game looks awesome. I actually hope you can drive a vehicle of some sort in this game, if not, hopefully everything else will make up for it. And i really do hope that the campaign will be increasingly longer, say 7-14 hours of single player, and maybe a few months in multiplayer.

There’s only one thing that should REALLY be brought up that i’ve never seen brought up before.
The character movement in conduit1 felt….awfully tacky and frustrating at times.
Sometimes I can reload when I jump, sometimes I cant…..
Sometimes I just have a hard time reloading in general…I’ll press reload 3 times and nothing happens, or at least not right on command. This in itself made things feel more sloppy, and I hope you guys make reloading feel on-point like Halo
Walking around while having a weapon charged felt weird and not as smooth as not being charged…dunno how to explain that :/
Although there’s all the customization and whatnot, the way the game tracks the wii remote felt unsteady and hard to deal with. Comparing this game and CoD: reflex, which also lets you customize sensitivity and stuff, CoD’s aiming in general feels a lot better.
away from that..
I know this game’s gonna be amazing, and i’m gonna buy it, I just hope this game can perfect as much as possible.

-I REALLY hope we’ll have the option to customize our reticule. Sorry, I’m disliking the one that’s been shown, and I know others that feel the same way. You guys are all about the players :p so this’d be sweet.
-If there’s no party system…(which i can understand), it’d be awesome if you could still make something like a separate gametype/feature that goes like:…
1.Gather a few friends/rivals to make a team (6 players or under)
2.Search for a match
3.Finds another random group of friends/rivals in matchmaking that has a number of players equal to your team. (If you have 2 players, you fill find another 2 player team for 2v2)
4. Of course, have maps selected to be appropriate for number of players
5. Match begins…..
that whole system is NOT a party system….there’s no reason to say it wouldn’t work. (It’s not like you can go into FFA matchmaking and stuff with friends, so..yeah.)
It would be extremely well received and appreciated by the hardcore players, or clans seeking to fight other clans. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, I know you’re almost at the end of development, but understand the benefits of this.

I was playing today and I kind of noticed that in the first, I found that in multiplayer people really don’t have to work together to accomplish a goal. Even in ASE people generally go in by themselves. I’m hoping for some form of gamemode(this new survival thing sounds like it may do it, hopefully)that REALLY forces people to cooperate to survive/accomplish the objective. I have an idea for one:
Infiltration – A gamemode where one team has to infiltrate the enemy base and capture the ASE and bring bring it to an extraction point. Infiltrators get one life, defenders get unlimited.

All i ask is.
2 things very Simlpe and Both rely on the Multiplayer Expeirience.
The first is the ability to talk to others. I understand your ahve included an Ally system where the person can become your rival.
Then you said that we cant talk to them until we add them as a Rival? um. What if we want them as a Friend? Another regard to this subject is you said the rival adding was permanant and you couldnt delete them? what if you add random people that dont have mics? hhmmm. awkward.
Like many people have said There should be more teamwork.
in the first one the ASE football was the closet thing you could get to team work.
and most of them time im alone?
people just tring to rack up points.
ASE football should be that everyone gets the same EXP depending on the score and overall of all the plyers KDR.
A Solution to the First one could be that
Everyon can talk to each other IN the lobby and must be added IN THE LOBBY and when you go ingame you can talk to them?
and maybe the option to rename the Rival catagorey?
The 1st one was great. and i am happy to hear that the updates will stop
the machine rocket launchers.
Ty HVS and Please take my suggestions and tips under conciteration.
PS: i hear hetoan2 is teaming up with you to help hackers. Give him a big thanks from me

HVS the graphics and textures in the Conduit 2 have been GREATLY improved.Better than Halo 3′s graphix. But please take these suggestions and use them.It will make C2 the best game of the year
1:Better online Servers! The 1st ones’ sucked. Please make it the most 35 seconds to join a match
2:Glitch/Hack proof!I know a game cant be hack proof, but step up the security! And patch up any weapon/map glitches!
3:Talk to anyone with Wii Speak/Headbanger Headset! And no Friend Codes!.Heres a suggestion.Click on someones name in the Lobby. Then a menu will pop up to add them!simple.
4:Have more than 32 friends.100 friends should be maxinum.
5:Please,PLEASE fix that spawn glitch were you join a match and you spawn outside the map,and then you have to wait till the match is over. When that happens I turn off my Wii and watch T.V.
P.S.If theirs going to be a Explosive set.Give the SMAW 3 rockets the most. Its an overpowered weapon!
I cant wait for C2.Fix those problems and C2 will be Game of the Year!

i dont care if u cant use the gamecube controller just let it be able to play splitscreen and if online u can have a second player then add the gamecube controller there too. i heard it only took u one day to add the classic controller, so plz add gamecube controller even if it has to share buttons somehow
