I’ve already said pretty much everything about this beast from the arcade, but I’m always happy to sing After Burner’s praises. After Burner Climax is a reminder of why Sega has been in the arcade business for decades upon decades, and it’s a wall-to-wall action game which defies you to master its many modes, secrets, and levels. There’s not much more to say on this one — this is one of my favorite games & series, and for only $4.99 it’s worth taking to the skies to find out yourself!

game is hard, but awesome fun =3
really crisp graphics too. It was refreshing to play an arcade game, haven’t played one in ages.

Yah.. it’s a fun game… like i said.. it’s different if you havent played arcade games or played them in a long time.. XD

I love the orginal from the Genesis but then when i saw this I almost craped myself I love that the old school is comming back thankx Sega

I picked it up!
I was never any good at Afterburner games in the past so all of those lovely EX Options are very welcome with me. Some may call it cheating but its enjoyable to just out and out rout the enemy when given the chance :p Love the music btw. Now I know where Fighters Megamix name entry screen & game over tunes came from!

Awesome! I literally just randomly decided to watch the Giant Bomb Quick Look of this again today, then thought, “man, why didn’t I already buy this?” Remembered the $10 price tag made me hesitate just long enough to put it off, logged on to the PSN Store to check it out anyway and found that it’s on sale. No hesitation.
This is the kind of thing that proves that sales work.
