Hello from Europe!

As many of you probably know by now (thanks to a certain act of vandalism involving my desk), I’ve been on vacation the last few weeks traveling Europe. The trip itself has been amazing, and for any interested, today I’ve uploaded the first pictures from the trip. From massive crêpes to random Chu Chu rocket sightings in Berlin, here’s a small taste of what my trip was like…

Oh, and if your name is either Julian or Kellie, then you should feel very, very jealous when you view these. (You should also feel unforgivably remorseful for having burned a certain someone’s favorite Shadow plushie and Skies of Arcadia copies.)

This is the crêpe I was tasked with getting in Paris by Julian. It was a lot bigger than I expected, and every bit as delicious as it looks. (This one is white chocolate.) There’s also a whole layer of melted chocolate beneath the warm, fluffy crêpe you can see here. Certainly looks good, doesn’t it?

I was going to express ship one of these back for Julian, but then I decided not to.

Venice, Italy! The canals of this city are not for those prone to seasickness, but the architecture was neat. The one thing they don’t tell you about Venice is that the place is absolutely filled with mosquitos, so be wary of this if during the nights if you visit.

This German delicacy is called the Nürnburger, and it’s a new addition to the menu at McDonald’s there. I should mention that all McDonald’s restaurants in general are much nicer in Europe than in America, similar to the way it is in Japan. Fabiann told me to eat one of these, so I got one at the train station in Berlin. It actually tasted a lot better than it may look. (Unless you think the above looks delicious!)

I always find it a little funny when people have big signs or notices with broken English on them. This one comes from one of the tourist help centers in Venice – the best part is how they spelled it correctly just an inch above, in Italian.

Switzerland – one of my favorite visits of the trip. We picked up a lot of swiss chocolate (over $70 worth) and used it for many a breakfast on a train or a snack while walking. The mountains of Switzerland are also beautiful, and I recommend that anyone who is thinking of traveling Europe spend some time here.

I almost picked up some extra Swiss chocolate to take back for Kellie, but then I decided not to.

My very first real cup of British Tea, provided by a certain person named Richard here at SEGA of Europe. Master Tea Maker Richard, as should be his official title, made a fantastic cup and it disappeared rather quickly… thank you!

If you’d like to see more pictures from the trip thus far, I’ve added a few others here on our Flickr page. Likewise, as I’m now back in the land of SEGA, the forums and the blogs, feel free to ask any questions you might have about the trip below!

Oh, and is there some special convention coming up this weekend here in London? I might have to see if I can manage to attend…

Cheers all!

P.S. EXCEPT JULIAN AND KELLIE
