Aaron’s Epic Desk Prank
As you may have seen from previous blogs,videos, and Facebook updates, Aaron went to Europe for the past few weeks. We like to prank people who go on vacation, and since Aaron’s such a good guy, we knew we had to come up with something amazing. (In fact, as he left, he said that whatever we did to his desk “had better be epic”. And we love a good creative challenge.) After a few ideas were tossed around, we landed on one that we knew this special Sonic fan would really love — Green Hill Zone. We spent weeks gluing yellow squares to brown paper, building ramps, cutting astro turf to fit the desk, floor, and cube rails, and putting together items like palm trees and totem poles. After a few trips to the local craft store, about four times as much glue as we expected to need, and the help of some super-strong magnets, we had our masterpiece. We filmed a lot of the process, so without further ado, here we are measuring, gluing, cutting, pasting, and building this masterpiece. We also filmed Aaron’s reaction, which really makes the whole thing totally worth it. 
There are some people that really deserve recognition for making this happen: Darren, Annie, Julian, Jackie, Thu, Fabian, Heather, Mary, Jen, Marco, Carl, Greg, Dan, Lori, and Joe. They all pitched in to help make our crazy idea a reality, and to help us share it with you all. Aaron, I meant what I said in the comments of your last blog entry — I regret nothing. Welcome back!

That’s pretty awesome! Nice prank, you guys! The comments saying that you should be making games then making prank videos, those people should lighten up. It’s cool to see that you guys likes to laugh and have a bit of fun at the job every once in a while.
Is Aaron going to keep his desk like that? He should, it adds more color to the office.

We had a long time to build, over 3 weeks, so we carved out an hour or so each day to get some work in. Lots of time went to letting the glue set and we farmed out some of the work to people in the office. It was a group effort!
