Hello Valkyria Chronicles fans!

We hope you’re all enjoying the Valkyria Chronicles II demo, which came out earlier this week! (If you don’t have it yet – grab it now via PSN! Hans is waiting patiently for you to do so.) In addition to the demo, we’re also happy to present the first issue of the Gallian Times below!

I know a lot of people are wondering “Why haven’t I heard more about VCII recently? Isn’t the game coming out soon?” So today, I’d like to reveal a little bit about what we’re planning as the game nears launch at the end of this month.

First up, next week is the start of our Community BLiTZ, which means five days full of Valkyria goodness across the blogs, forums, and all over the internet. Besides being able to find new info about the game each day, you’ll also be able to win a number of great prizes, including Valkyria Chronicles figurines, free DLC codes for the first game, and other rare merchandise! From Facebook to Twitter, we invite everyone who’s a fan of the game to check back regularly as we reveal more about the game?

Finally, a shout out to the guys at the fansite SEGA-Addicts, who have just released a new episode of their podcast with a big spotlight on Valkyria Chronicles. I joined them and we talked for a couple hours about our greatest fears and hopes for the game, and how those panned out when I first started playing through the English version.
