We hope you enjoyed our blog yesterday on the fun stuff we’ll be raffling off at our PAX 2010 Community Event. Remember – Saturday, 8pm @ Gameworks, right across the street from PAX convention hall – the SEGA Community Event will be alive and kicking. We’ll have food and drinks, musical performance from the creators of the Sonic Colors theme song, Cash Cash – and these awesome raffle prizes, of course.

The SEGA Saturn Pack

A console that we’ve been itching to giveaway every since we acquired it a few months ago. We did a bit of digging, pulled out some old peripherals and have created a pack that we’re quite proud of. We’re giving away a Saturn system (sorry, the box has been opened) with a Virtua Stick, an extra controller, a light gun, and a SEGA sweatshirt!

Sonic Colors Pre-Order Hat

Yep, we’re giving away a Sonic Colors hat that is normally only available through the pre-order promotions at gamestop. This is your one and only chance at receiving one of these limited edition Sonic hats before it makes it’s way to the store shelves! We’ve got two hats to giveaway and both come with a SEGA sweatshirt!

Random Sonic Swag Packs

We asked our licensing team if they could help us out and donate some swag for this event and they gave us so much stuff that we are breaking them up into 5 randomized prizes. The swag could include any, but not all, of the following: Sonic, Tails, and Silver Figurines, Sonic Patches, Sonic hats, Shadow hats, Amy Hats, Shadow Backpacks, Sonic Backpacks, Sonic Playing Cards, and wallscrolls! Of course, each pack includes a SEGA Sweatshirt!

Ultimate SEGA Dreamcast Pack

OMG … There I said it, and when you read about it – you will too. This is our big big pack, the grand prize, the ultimate giveaway for a SEGA fan: A fully sealed Sonic Edition SEGA Dreamcast – complete with Sonic Adventure and Sonic Shuffle. That’s not all, no no no, we’re also giving you two VMUs, a Rumble Pack, extra controllers and a stack of games that would make an old school SEGA drool. We have Rippin Riders, Outtrigger, NFL 2K1, Floigan Bros, Crazy Taxi 2 – and a signed copy of Shenmue by none other than Yu Suzuki. Epic.

How to Win

Very simple – Attend the event and you’ll get a raffle ticket or two. We’ll hold the prize giveaway later that evening and you’ll need to be in attendance to pick up your prize – it’s that easy! To help save on shipping costs and awkward travel situations (”Sir, you’ll need to purchase another ticket for your friend Shadow”) from the show – we are awarding sweatshirts on the floor and shipping all prizes out to winners after the PAX weekend.
