I so want the Monkey Ball games to go back to how great they were in Monkey Ball 1, 2 and Deluxe.
But so far from these screenshots I’m already worried… So far every screenshot I see nothing that is even the slightest bit of a challenge. The whole point of Monkey Ball was to get to the end of the level with out falling off the level while collecting bananas… Now it looks like the challenge would be to find a place where you CAN fall off the level. Where is the fun in that?
Secondly but probably even more important to me at least is the bloody mini games! They have been nothing but glorified tech demos since Banana Blitz… Instead of being a small number of great fun to play and fleshed out party games to keep me and my friends entertained for hours on end like Monkey Target, Monkey Race and Monkey Fight on Super Monkey Ball Deluxe they are nothing but flash in the pan tech demos showing off what the new gimmicky console can do and not worth playing more then once.
For the love of all that is holy get back to making Monkey Ball games that are good and fun for everyone. Not just a cheap kid’s game.
TELL ME EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT SEGA… TELL ME.

Sharky, I get your concern but these could just be the easiest levels in the game to get people comfortable with SMB who may have never played them before. Also, there could be gaps or moving platforms that we obviously can’t see right now.

RandomBlogReader, That could well be the case… I’m just not feeling the last 2 SMB games on the Wii. I hope that is the case, but you’d think they would show off some of the harder levels too if that was the case.
