SEGA Sale on iTunes!Attention, SEGA iTunes, iPad, and iPod touch fans — we currently have a sale going on for iTunes, and for a limited time the following games will be on sale in the U.S. iTunes store: Sonic the Hedgehog (click here to buy!) $5.99 $1.99 We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our fans for helping to make these games a smash success in the iTunes store: Super Monkey Ball 2 is currently the number 2 app in the U.S. App Store, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is right behind it at number 3 !
The Sonic games pretty much speak for themselves, of course, and it’s worth mentioning how native Super Monkey Ball 2 feels on the iPhone. Of course, I’m particularly happy to see Phantasy Star II so easily available — it’s a truly excellent RPG, perfect for the iPhone, and I wrote quite a bit about it when it released a few weeks ago. If you want to pick it up on the cheap, you can check my quick-guide for new players to the game on some easy hints & tips to get started. Oh, Congrats for number 2 and 3!!
I got Sonic the Hedgehog 1 last week. Thanks for the discount!
(Of course, having Sonic 2 on the first app I ever bought after I got iPod Touch.)

I literally just saw this on the app store and just bought Sonic 1 for $2. Great deal for a great game. Now if they would just release Sonic 3 & Knuckles so that when Sonic 4 comes out on Thursday I could have all 4 awesome Sonic games on my iPhone. Are there any plans to release Sonic 3 & Knuckles?

These games were the first apps on my iPhone, and I paid full price…. Only if I had waited…. But really, Sega is definitely worth it.

Aw man! Too bad I don’t have an ipod, iphone, ect; these look like they’d be SOOO MUCH FUN!!! I’d especially like to play Sonic 2 (First video game I played in my life)

Very very cheap.
If possible I would like to have the old Sega game every game because it might be a game that many people liked a lot.
