Exclusive Sonic Colors and Cash Cash Videos at MetacafeMetacafe is releasing a series of videos with Cash Cash, who performs the theme song to Sonic Colors. The videos include some footage from our Bryant Park event in New York City as well as footage shot at their home studio in New Jersey. Here are the first 3 videos, and more will be posted on the Metacafe site over the next few weeks. First Sonic game for me was Sonic Heroes for Xbox XD
I always used Team Rose, cause Amy was the only girl leader… And she was pink XD And I played Sonic 1 a little after. that was my second, and from there, that’s all I remember XD

Cash Cash sounds good in a childish game like Sonic Colors. But in the future Sega, I’d prefer Crush 40.

Sorry for posting complaints about Sonic Colors but, I do have 1 more.
Sega, how come in the cut-scenes of the game, Sonic doesn’t act like his usual self? I noticed you made him act a little, childish. Heck, TAILS acted more mature. This is probably because it’s a childish game but, I’d much rather see Sonic’s cool, cocky, fun attitude.

I think that’s what gives him his cocky sound, when you’re a little immature you tend to act cockier than when you’re an adult.
Besides, I like him way better this way. He sounds more like his satam self.

I’m not a very big fan of Cash Cash but I was kind of surprised that they were inspired by Nirvana and The Beatles, I love those bands, but they are so different compared to Cash Cash. I guess they are allright in Colors, you know just for the kids, but I hope Sega still use Crush 40 for future themes for future Sonic games. I did think it was cool that they got Jun from Crush 40 to compose some music for Sonic 4.

Well yeah but, I was talking about cocky as in like how he was in SA2. Sonic is always immature which is awesome about him, but in this game, he seemed a little TOO childish.

I wouldn’t say immature…I would say sarcastic more… and I have to agree with sonic52789 I skipped a lot of scenes :/ I prefered Unleashed than Colo(u)rs it was way better
Roger is much better than Ryan Drummond (In Free Riders) in my opinion and he could still do really better and stick with more less kiddish lines which Ryan and Jason had in some previous games
Cash Cash have a few awesome songs inclduing the Colo(u)rs theme but Jaret Reddick’s who is in Bowling For Soup “Endless Possibilities” was soo much better and one of the best main sonic themes in my opinion

I started out playing a demo of Sonic 2 on the computer (first game I ever played!) and then didn’t really play a Sonic game untill Adventure 2 Battle. After that, Sonic has dominated most of my game collection!

Wow, long time I haven’t came here.
Hey Sonic, long time no see.
Anyway, They game is good but one thing that I have really in my mind is that is it me or is most of the game in a 2D platformer?
I don’t know but many of the games are completely in 2D and level which do have 3D only have it for 20% of the level. I know Sonic isn’t all about speed but I just am getting enough of all the 2D platforming.
Sometimes I just wish it would go back on 2D. Anybody feeling the same?

@Benyamin – I feel the EXACT same way. You see, THIS is what constant 2D complaining does. Fans gave Sega the idea that they want most the game in 2D, instead of an equal amount of 2D and 3D.
Sega, listen to this:
If you notice, fans LOVED the Sonic Adventure series, an ALL 3D GAME. It had no 2D in it what so ever.
Then, when Sonic 06 came out, fans hated it. Reason: Sonic was too slow (that and the loading). He was about Half the speed if not less than he was in the Adventure series.
So, after 06, fans got the idea that 3D was bad, and forgot all about the Adventure series. If you notice no one EVER complains about Adventure.
All in All, Sega, we don’t want 2D to take up most of the Sonic games, equal share like Unleashed would be nice. And please leave either solid 3D(Adventure style) or EQUAL mix of 3D and 2D(Unleashed style) to the main console series. And leave the Solid 2D to the Old-school series(Sonic 4 +).

I know this is off topic but:
For Sonic’s 20th anniversary, I want:
Something that was long waited for.
One game I just can’t miss.
Nice voice actors like in adventure 2.
Intesley fun.
Chao gardens.
Amazing story line like adventure 2.
Design in levels
Very creative levels
Excitment that will overcome all games.
Nice adventure field
Top – noch music.
Upgrades like the light dash.
Return of crush 40.
Every turn, there’s a fun surprise.
3 – D game-play, you know which style.

I think we are still gonna stick with the new V/A cast porberly for the next 4/5 years
Not really sure about the Adventure story but I get the idea… but yes the chao definately need to come back they haven’t been appearing in a main game since Sonic Unleashed (or MASATWOG for spin offs)
I’m not sure if there’s gonna be an Adventure 3 (its a 50/50 chance) I only liked SA2 , SA was terrible IMO ….Though I thought 06 was kind of similar except it didn’t go well :L

@C.J – Sonic Adventure 2 is the best! Before I got that game I didn’t know Sonic that well, when I played Sonic Adventure I thought he was pretty cool. But after Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic became my favorite video game character of all time! I have ALL Sonic games from Sonic adventure – Present (Will be getting Colors for Christmas).

Thats nice to know it was your favourite….though I wasn’t hyped on the Adventure series much I still agree that SA2 was a great game along with others (Rush, Rush Adneture , Unleashed, Rivals 2, BK)
The reason I sold Colo(u)rs was because it was too kiddish and didn’t have elements that Unleashed had so prefer Unleashed than Colo(u)rs but hre a my top games

Sonic And The BK (Though it was short but sweet and sort of laggish)

Games I’m aiming to get this christmas;
Sonic Colo(u)rs (DS) (I’m gonna try out the DS Version since the Wii didn’t work for me)
Sonic And Sega All Stars Racing (PS3, Wii, Xbox and DS) I’m gonna get all versions since the game got positive reviews I’ve been dying to try it out so I can’t wait
this Christmas will be a good
