I would like to know if SEGA is going to force this “Steam” subscription requirement down the throats of players who purchase this game as they have in the past two releases.

Looks very beautiful. But what really matters is how diplomacy, AI, the economics, battle units’ balance and politics are going to work this time. Only a nice map will not do it. I hope this time I will not have to go to mods to have a good time. Total War games could be the best games ever. Unfortunately, however, they are nothing more than average games, of which you get tired really soon because of all its weaknesses.
