Hey sega just saw the trailer for the sonic game and was wondering uhh why wasn’t there anything for wii or ds cuz those are the only ones i have and just making it for those (ps xbox) and that wouldn’t be very 20th of you only having it for just those two. And then I won’t be happy. SO PLEASE SEGA PLZ MAKE IT FOR AT LEAST ONE nintendo CONSOLE AND I WILL BE HAPPY. OR I WILL NOT BE HAPPY WITH YOU AND NEITHER WILL SANTA!

@”unknown”- Reason number one: XBox and Ps3 have the best graphics in home consoles right now. 2: this is going to be a great game and might take a long time just for those 2. SEGA might make it for Wii and 3DS later. Like I mentioned before on the “Hope For Japan” blog: they still didn’t even finish the Teaser Trailer! So give them some time, and if they don’t … that’s your problem, not mine.
P.S. I have all home consoles but Ps3 and Playstation.

And what makes you think that they will make it for wii and what makes you think that they weren’t done with the trailer. But I still hope that they do make it for at least one nintendo system (preferably wii). I just hope your right or i will severly torked at SEGA.

Look guys, there’s nothing wrong with consoles having exclusives. The reality is you can’t have everything. Deal with it. Focus on your victories. Sonic Colors is a Wii and DS exclusive and speaking as someone who owns the Wii version, I’m proud to say it is my favorite 3D Sonic game to date.
I can see where you’re coming from though. Until last fall, the most current consoles I owned were the Wii and PS2. The Wii has a lot of really cool games but I was unhappy that I was missing out on things like Bayonetta and Batman: Arkham Asylum. So you know what I did?
I saved my money and bought a PS3.
Bottom line: If you’re bummed about missing out on certain games, you’ll just have to shell out some cash and do something about it. Otherwise, just appreciate what you already have.

yeah but i dont think i would wanna miss the 20th anniversary game. And besides i don’t get paid except at x-mas and my b-day. Or if i do a rlly big job like mowing the lawn 3 times and then edging and yet i only got paid 10 bucks. so guess how long that would take. that and i can’t a job, too young, yever thought o’ that. Maybe i don’t want an xbox or ps3.

Well then I guess you’ll just have to solve this problem another way. Do you have any friends who own a PS3 or 360? Maybe you can go in together on buying the game and then you can play it when you hang out. Also, I don’t know how old you are but it mustn’t be more than 1-2 years until you can work. Why not wait, get a job, and then buy the game and/or one of the systems at a later date. This is the type of thing I used to do before I had a job, and take my word for it. The wait makes getting your hands on the game all the more sweeter.
Otherwise get serious and negotiate with your parents. Maybe there are more chores you can do for more money. Maybe one of your neighbors has a job for you.
However, you seem to be adamant that you don’t want another system. Fine. That’s cool. All I’m trying to say is, complaining isn’t going to get you anywhere. It will just make you feel worse about the situation. But be patient! Maybe the Wii or DS will get something for the 20th anniversary even if it’s a totally different release. In the mean time, play the great game that is Sonic Colors. (If you have it, if not, try and get it!:))
Anyway I’m sorry to here you feel left out. I hope at least one of the above suggestions can help you out.

NO. My friends don’t have ps3′s or xbox’s. Well one of ‘em was gonna get one for Christmas. But he decided to get a psp. And it would take forever to get a ps3 or xbox cuz he’s wanting two hamsters and he only has like 5 bucks. Besides I’d only be old enough to be the paperboy or whatever jobs you get at age fourteen(in two years). Plus at that time it would be a little late. two new Sonic games would be out. Negotiating with my parents. Ha. It would be easier to negotiate with a squirrel about getting one of its acorns. The only console my parents got was the wii, which took forever that and my ma wanted one anyway. OK well they did get me a DSi but that was for X-mas. And I ain’t whining/complaining! yeah that if they do have another 20th game for wii and or ds. I’d think they would’ve said something already. And I would still want to play the one that they already started. And I’ve already got sonic colors both versions already beat ‘em. and about to beat it again on wii. (as in get Super Sonic).
And you spelt hear wrong, you put here. duh.

@”unknown”- I’m 12, and I earned my consoles for example, XBox 360: by finishing the season for gymnastics ON TEAM. You might think it’s hard but, it was easy (for me). Not bragging. Just telling you that you don’t need a “job” to get something. Also, as being a Christian (nationality, not name), I pray for some of these things; but I don’t beg.
P.S. I beat Sonic Colors for Wii and DS. Wii: 2 times with Super Sonic; DS: about 4 times including the Nega Mother Wisp. So stop whining!
Also, the reason I thought it wasn’t complete is because not the whole zone was colored/finished other than the paths that the Modern and Classic Sonic run on.

the chores- you mean across from the ones i already do-clean my room, clean the living room, bathroom, kitchen, loft(my brother and sister switch each other each week for those)(not the clean my room part), the laundry, the dishwasher, taking out the trash, cook(every once in a while), mow the lawn, oh and the dishes that have to be handwashed.- what else is left?

Anyway, back on topic. I look forward to see how these games turn out. Thor and Captain America definitely have the potential to be good games. It all comes down to execution. I only hope they don’t fall prey to the fate of mediocrity that has become the norm when referring to movie games.

To all the Wii owners complaining about Sonic Generations not coming out on Wii- The reason for this is that SG uses the 2006 Hedgehog engine which the Wii is not powerful enough to run.
Sonic Team MAY, at a later date choose to do a simplified port for the Wii but right now I’d prefer that they concentrate solely on the 360/PS3 version. The last thing I’d want is for ST to begin developing a Wii version simultaneously and for the 360/PS3 version to suffer as a result. You guys have had LOADS of Sonic exclusives, now it’s our turn. If you don’t like that save up for a 360 or stop complaining.
As an fan of the original Sonic games growing up, seeing the Generations gameplay trailer was incredible. this is the first time I have been excited about a Sonic game since 1994! The game looks amazing especially the Classic Sonic levels.
SEGA- I cannot wait to play Sonic Generations later this year it looks like it could be as good as or even better than the Megadrive games. Please ignore the Wii owners for the time being and focus on creating the best possible game for the HD consoles with the best possible graphics. BTW- the graphics already look INCREDIBLE.
Zone’s I’d love to see in the game- Oil Ocean from Sonic 2 & Carnival Night from Sonic 3.
