Virtua Tennis 4 – PS3 Commercial
The official commercial for the PS3 Version of Virtua Tennis 4 is here! It features lots of sweet tennis gameplay, some accents, and some more unintentionally hilarious expressions on peoples faces as they play a tennis game. But, make no mistake – VT4 is one awesome tennis game. With the game having just launched in Europe, all of us here in the US of A with a love for Tennis can gear up for our release, coming next week on May 10th! Are you ready for the game to arrive?

Looks cool! just 1 more week 😛
Could we be hoping for a Move-supported or an Exibition Mode demo?

I feel a bit cheated. Why isn’t the Move controller supported in the world tour-mode???

UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT!!! It’s been a long time since I have ever been disappointed of a Video Game. I bought VT4 for Xbox Kinect ‘assuming’ total motion control and when I open the manual, what do I see the controls for a controller!!! You can only use Kinect in a ‘Exhibition Mode?!’ Are you serious?! I then return to exchange for the Wii version and on the back it shows you the controls using the standard Wii control and the Wii MotionPlus Control. Well, after again checking the manual, what do I see??? The nunchuck control!!! I then try to play the game holding the controller in the ‘vertical’ position and for some reason it’s not working right, well guess what, you have to go ‘HORIZONTAL!!!’ No where on the manual says that, but they tell you to download the manual if need to. Enough venting, but I WILL return this game and will definitely not plan purchasing anymore SEGA games for the time being. I’m very disappointed at the product SEGA has produce. For those who want to play motion tennis, please give EA Sports “Grand Slam Tennis for Wii(sorry Xbox) a try. That is the closest so far has real tennis play with motion control, which is what I was expecting, but SEGA thought otherwise.

Well after trying to call “help.sega.com” for Virtua Tennis 4 as suggested “WHAT A JOKE” by the 4 page insert that the game came with. In one of the two pages that were written in english, it suggested to go on line and print the manual, really Sega you couldn’t include it in the $40.00 that we paid for this horrible game. My wife and I are tennis enthusiastic with health problems that for bid us from playing the real game anymore. We have been playing Grand Slam tennis by EA Sports. That game really had potential for real tennis players. The game allowed us to move and do different strategies and see all 4 players at all times. However Wii allow this game to be released for their system with so many glitches, I can’t even count them. People had to have been paid off to allow this to have happened. In The manual for VT4 it goes as far as showing the nunchuk in the 2 page insert and the games instruction set up. We had to print the manual which I had to go on line and print out as it is not included in the purchase price !!!!!, Sega really, how cheap can you be? This should have been my first clue that we just got hosed. We spent hours trying to get the nunchuks to work only to find out that they don’t and will never. Sega should return money to anyone that purchased this what ever you want to call it and Wii should send a letter of apology to anybody that bought it for their Wii system. At best it is pure frustration. Shame on both of you yes, (Wii and Sega) for what I consider more than misleading advertisements. In closing we are not purchasing games from either of you as we have lost respect and confidence in both of you.
