New Features Added for SEGA Play! BaseballWe have a new update now available for SEGA Play! Baseball — here’s a look at what’s been added! Extend your player’s skills Ordinarily, player skills are reset at the end of a cycle — once every 30 days. Now, playing the “Strikeout” game, you have a chance to win a ticket which will keep your skills from being reset for an entire additional cycle! As you can imagine, this is a pretty huge advantage, and if you can get one of these tickets then you can preserve all of the careful work you’ve put in to upgrading your player … keep in mind only your player is affected; friends who are on your team are reset as normal. New Equipment Now available for direct purchase with SEGA Coins: bronze, silver, and gold items have been removed from the Strikeout game, and are now available for a pittance (1, 2, and 3 coins) directly from the equipment shop when upgrading players and NPCs. EX Training Trains Up EX Training is now improved, and will provide benefit to a second stat when used. Adjusted: Promotion/Demotion Ranks for Different Leagues Platinum: Demoted if placed under 6th place

It is a fun game. And as I said in a previous blog … I wasn’t necessarily expecting to get into it. But SEGA has historically been an arcade company (this goes back to, literally, 1940) and SEGA has always been willing to try things in new spaces. Facebook is another platform, arcade like in a lot of ways, and while it isn’t “the hardcorest” it is a new place to try things out. Play! Baseball is actually pretty charming and here I am, someone who loves complex RPGs and in-depth storytelling, playing this Facebook game and checking on my team every day. It’s fun, is what matters most
