‘Twas brillig in the Gloaming Woods…Take your five-star Vorpal Sword in hand and prepare to head into the new level, released today for Spiral Knights — the mysterious Gloaming Wildwoods, complete with a new boss! Not just an ordinary level, this is home to a new boss for Tier 1 knights — no ordinary monster of the dark woods, this beast is the Snarbolax, something from beyond the looking glass (and from deep within the Clockworks). Deep within the dense forest of the Gloaming Woods is where you’ll find the Snarbolax. If you haven’t encountered the boss monsters of the Clockworks yet, you’re missing out — see below for screenshots from the battle with the Royal Jelly, one of the other massive bosses to emerge from the Clockworks. The Snarbolax is no ordinary beast: said to be “draped in living shadows”, the Snarbolax stalks the depths of the Gloaming Wildwoods — vicious and cruel, he toys with his prey before finishing them off . . . Succeed in defeating the beast, however, and untold riches may be yours! This update also includes a new artifact reward and a number of new items. New items aside, the Snarbolax whiffling through the Gloaming Wildwoods raises the question: just what is going on in the Clockworks, anyway? What has been brought to bare against the Clockwork knights from the shifting gears and levels deep underneath the planet Cradle? Check out more details on the update at Three Rings, and explore the Spiral Knights wiki to delve into the mysteries of the Clockworks … or just jump right in and see for yourself, and chortle in your joy! Lastly — check below for a wallpaper-sized image of the Snarbolax (just follow the link to our flickr and grab the resolution of your choice)! | ||
