Look, Imma let you finish, but the Michael Jackson songs are the best in the Sonic 3 & K era.
I’m actually grateful on this not being concentred on the perma-kids who praise “everything 2″ over anything else.

I really hope the music is similar to whats played here. The old Sonics had the best sound tracks for what they were. I still remember those old tunes and this was a nice call out to it

My favorite game growing up was Sonic & Knuckles, when I heard the re-mixed track for sky sanctuary zone in this trailer I got goose-bumps. Definitive day 1 purchase just for bringing back those awesome memories of Sonic & Knuckles.
I also heard the 3DS version wil have mushroom hill zone? After this is released it would be amazing to see what was left on the cutting room floor that didn’t make it into the game as well as there is a lot of content to choose from throughout all the sonic mega-drive era.

This is an awesome game probably the best sonic game ever made – yet this will not come out for the wii… This IS SO UNFAIR!!! Sonic Colors proves, Graphically its not that big of a step down. Wii owners are starved for games – do you developers hate the wii or something?
Colors was way too easy, that one button press thing was lame – what happened to the multi-button thing like in unleashed – Why SEGA, you neglect Wii owners – and give us no effort games
- Blackknight – Rings – Unleashed Wii version – and Colors provides no challenge….
And the Greatest sonic game coming out is denied wii owners yet it goes the hand held how insulting

Ive beat all the sonif games so far except the knight one sonic unleashed and sonic and the secret rings. But for as much as i miss sonic this generations does not seem complete without 2 or 3 things. 1) a chao gardn like in sonic adventure 2. Thry made my day. 2) probavly the most important of all the ability to.become super sonic ir hyper sonic in the action stages. Honestly i miss the hyper emeralds anr tranfotming at will after 50rings.

Just looking at the trailer it must of been damn hard to imagine Sky sanctuary in 3D. Since it’s only seen from a 2d perspective, it does look amazing in 3d Great job!

This is beginning to look very good. I would personally love to see more of the older zones redone, but I know we can’t fit everything into the game, so I certainly hope that there’s more we just haven’t seen yet.

I really like what I’ve seen. It’s GREAT! However, I’m still hoping that Hidden Palace Zone is in there somewhere. Not the one from S&K, but the unfinished one from Sonic 2. That would be way past cool.

G8 Game, little worried about levels selection, must include more genesis levels like ICE Cape, Hydro City, Marble Garden, Casino Night, Mystic Cave, Hill Top, Lava Rife, Emarled Hill, Angel Island etc. etc.

This is so awesome!
I’m going to list my ideas-
Classic Sonic with Caliburn from Sonic and the Black Knight; world select->hub; future/past post from Sonic CD to switch between Sonics; change from modern to classic and vice versa at world select-> enter modern/classic hub; Final boss phase 1 classic/modern Super Sonics vs. Time Eater-> phase 2 need to go back through time, certain areas in hubs were re-erased, use Master Emerald to create Super Emeralds-> classic/modern Hyper Sonics vs. Time Eater phase 2.
Funny thing is I thought of all of these at night before i went to sleep.

#17 – PS3/360 has been stuck with nothing for quite some time, while Wii/DS gets Colors. Either step up and buy a PS3/360, or live with what you’ve got. If anything, it’s neglecting PS360 owners. All they got after ’06 was Unleashed. Get over it.
I wonder how much DLC Sonic G will get. Lots, I hope!

I thought that too. We’ll just have to wait for a PC version. Yes Sonic colors was short and still had a few problems like drifting. The story book games were alot to be desired. and xbox and ps3 both the better version of unleashed. That and they get all the ports of Sonic CD, both adventures, I’m not positive if they got heroes but i don’t think so. and all the classic games that the wii has. WHY ON EARTH COULDN’T SEGA DO BASICALLY WHAT THEY DID WITH UNLEASHED!!!???

Marble Garden was on my list :/ Ah well, great re-imagining.
Also for the Wii owners this game IS for PC as well, so stop blubbering and get it on PC (although I’m getting Collector’s Edition fo’ my 360
).

and your getting the ports of sonic cd, you got both adventures, you got the better version of unleashed, you’ve gotten all the sonic ports that we have, and that’s just wii. do i need to go on to ds? while yes colors was a good game, rings-iffy, black knight- crap, olympic series-that has mario characters(nintendo only)(not sega’s fault)(if it had just sonic-most likely).
and you say you get nothing. and you expect pity from us. i don’t think so.

sonic adventure 2 and the DS games are NOT on psn and you have no right to complain because sonic cd was for the gamecube and so were sonic advenyure 1 & 2 and if I’m not mistaken the wii can play GC games .. so what is the problem . you are just mad because we got generations and you got colors . nintendo fans constantly comp[lain when they don’t get a game , but when they do , they rub it into everyone else and expect pity when they DON’T get a game . but when you DO you bvash the crap out of it . not that it makes a diff , cuz you bash it anyway even if you don’t get it . if I was sega I wouldn’t give games to nintendo because of you guys .

Praise to Sega and the whole Sonic Team! This game is looking like utter perfection in my opinion, bringing sonic fans new and old togethor, and as a huge fan of the Classic Sonic style I have to admit I’m becoming VERY excited at the improved look and feel of Modern Sonic. This game WILL bring Sonic the Hedgehog back into 5 Star Game territory, I have no doubt about it. I just hope the Collector’s Edition will be available in store….. wink, wink, nudge nudge
