Football Manager 2012 – OUT NOW!
Today is the day that all Football Manager Fans have been waiting for, the release of the eagerly anticipated Football Manager 2012. Now all you have to do is decide who you will manage then you will be well away on another FM career. Hate the steam has to load up everytime we use the game. This is the last time i will buy fm manager and i have been with them since there first game. I dont see why we have to be forced to download software i think this is highly illegal and infriment of other rights. We pay good money to play a game only to muck about with a website we dont want to use. i have no problem using it to valadite the game but after that we should be aloud to uninstall the website. please change this and release a verision with needing steam.

Internet access is required for product activation. Once activated you can put STEAM into Offline Mode as instructed below:
1. Start Steam online – make sure the Remember my password box on the login window is checked
2. Verify that all game files are completely updated – you can see the update status for a game under the Library section (when the game shows as 100% – Ready it is ready to be played in Offline Mode)
3. Launch the game you would like to play offline to verify that there are no further updates to download – shut down the game and return to Steam once you have confirmed that the game can be played
4. Go to Steam > Settings to ensure the Don’t save account credentials on this computer option is not selected
5. From the main Steam window, go to the Steam menu and select Go Offline
6. Click Restart in Offline Mode to restart Steam in Offline Mode

My problem is that i have bought 2 copies of the game one in disk form and one directly from steam and after they have been installed i try opening them and every time i do no matter which one i try it opens up internet explorer instead saying that the game has shut down as it belives that its not a true valid version of the game. I have therefore spent 60 pound on things that dont work can anyone suggest any sollutions to this
