@kateburning – Ah, but Sonic CAN’T(That’s why he drowns in ankle high water in Sonic 06). Shadow, Amy and Silver? Well, they can swim. That’s Fine. But, Sonic, CAN’T (Ask any Sonic Fan whose played at least 5 of his games). That’s one of the main points of the series. He had to wear a lifejacket in the orginal Olmpic games. Mind you, he could swim in Super Smash Bros Brawl, and that was another non-canon game featuring Mario and Sonic.

All I’m going to say Kate/SEGA, is check your facts before you state ‘em. Hedgehogs can swim. Sonic can’t. You’d better add a life-jacket in post production pretty fast, otherwise the die-hard Sonic Fans are going to go APE.

Now, pantronising lecture over (Sorry about that, everyone, ecspecially Kate. I feel mean picking on the new girl. :[ ), Mario and Sonic Seems to be shaping up to be a good game. I see Egg Pawns (Orange and Blue), which makes me happy (Sonic heroes was my first Sonic game, so I’m a bit sentimental). It’s nice to see that the boys can do figure swimming too, so it’s not gender rectscricted. I assume the girls can play football too? It also looks like everyone will have their own (different designed) horse. I wander what Metal’s ‘ll look like. Or Browser’s… (Thinking about it, both seem a bit wrong to be riding NORMAL horses. Maybe Metal’s be robotic, and Browser’s skelltical? or huge. like and elephant)

Anyway, this seems to be shaping up to be a brillant game! Just don’t let the series run thin. Keep up the good work, SEGA!

P.S. Sorry agian Kate. I really am.
Someone had to say it, and I didn’t want it to be some offensive fanboy.

P.S.S. Let’s all drop the subject of sonic swimming now, shall we?

Can’t wait to get this one. Winter was alright, but I think the original had a better formula for multiplayer.

i dont care if sonic should have a life jacket or not, personally id just rant on the game instead of those tiny little technacalities.
