SEGA Halloween 2011As we did last year, we’ve got some photos of the costumes people are wearing in the office today. While there is no big group theme like there was last year, there are a few common threads. We have a couple clowns (a bit of teasing toward someone else in the office who is afraid of clowns), and Julian and I have a theme going as well – he’s dressed as Waldo, and I’m dressed as Carmen Sandiego. (We’re planning to disappear later on today so people will wonder where we are!)

And it wouldn’t be halloween at SEGA without some SEGA costumes!

Aaron from the marketing team as Vyse from Skies of Arcadia

Those last girls are double-cosplaying. One is cosplaying as Hatsune Miku dressed as Sonic, and the other one is Kagamine Rin dressed as Tails. Hatsune Miku and Kagamine Rin are featured in a Japan-exclusive game called Project Diva, where you can unlock a Sonic outfit for the Hatsune Miku character to wear.

Where’s Waldo?! Nice costumes guys…I love that Skies of Arcadia is getting love! And yes, the project diva/Sonikku costumes are very nice.

Carmen Sanfrancisco? Man there hasn’t been anything out of that series in like a decade…I used to enjoy some of that…along with some Waldo of course. Kate’s is good, although I unfortunately haven’t seen much of the series yet.
Aaron…dude…yeah. Way to go on that outfit. Dennis is great too, but he needs to unbutton a few buttons and show off a chain. The double outfits in the last one are a cool idea. I wish we could get more of Sega’s music games over here.

Could Aaron be hinting at a possible Skies of Arcadia remake? That would be too perfect! I’ve been wanting to replay that gem but my Dreamcast conked out years ago

Sega should get a real creative team for their game concept designe a group of truly genius and creative people (i know they are hard to come by, i am one by no means am i asking for a job but the works are a product of the minds that invent them and those mind are not right for the job quite evidently by the prooducts they have created) I will give a geneius thought of mine that seperates me from anyone else i have met, that proves i am a more creative thinker one that could make a masterpiece of a game, well every being has a pattern of genetics that is their genetic code, for each of those patterns one has there is an opposite just like pink to baby blue, this complete opposite is the natural mate to the genetic it’s opposite to. Twins in the same ways baby blue and pink are. like many idustrys like anime game lack in concept. I just have to say i am a gamer but the games are totally weak in their concepts and not really pleastent to look at half of them (grotesk images or unatural(imaginary) beings). I only don’t play video games because there are no good ones. RPGS lack storys and as well good programming concepts as far as how graphics and everything is put together.
