I just wish SEGA put more effort into the packaging. It’s Sonic’s 20th anniversary and we get a stinking 4 page pamphlet for a manual? We deserved a full-color manual detailing all of the character profiles in depth, a brief history, storyline, ANYTHING.

At least the game itself is good but it’s still insulting.

Damn I can’t believe that the collector’s edtion didn’t get a stateside release. I mean my gf from the uk got me one, but damn look at all these rabid sonic heads that I am sure would plop down the rings for a collector’s edition it is the illest. Looked like everyone had fun tho I am glad this is awesome good launch good game I’am happy tho

I didn’t pick it up @ midnight because I felt obligated to get it from the store where I work. Plus 15% off is a nice bonus, especially when I was picking up 2 copies, one for me and one for my girlfriend! =X

Awesome as always. Gotta love Sonic. I may have only had Nintendo systems as a kid, but I still loved Sonic, ever since my best friend first introduced me to the Blue Hedgehog back in Second Grade where I play my first Co-Op game, Sonic the Hedgehog 3. From then on, I’ve loved the Sonic series just as much as the Mario series, if not more so.
I’ll say this though, Sega does what Nintendon’t, and that would be giving their Mascot a worthwhile Anniversary game (Mario just got Super Mario All-Stars re-released for the Wii..and not even the version with Super Mario World).
