SEGA…
Many times I searched on iTunes praying one day, just maybe, there would be some actual Sonic tunes on there.
I love you.
First, you give us Sonic Generations, which is bloody amazing.
Then you give us Daytona USA in HD.
Then you give us an epic Sonic CD contest.
And now… THIS! My dream come true!
And now there are.
SEGA, welcome back. You’ve gotten awesome again-that said in my opinion, you never left.

Thank You so much, SEGA!

That’s awesome news. Shame I can’t get them to play on the go as iPhone recently got stolen but really happy to see the soundtracks making it outside of Japan.

@Sonic CD – Ha! I was hoping you’d see that we called you out.
As far as other services, I only have the info that they’re on iTunes now. We’ll make sure to let you know if they become available in through other services/in other countries.

Sega should put house of the dead 4 on the xbox 360 because it has been over 6 yrs since house of the dead 4 came out in arcades. They should make the guns wire or wireless for the 360. I know that all house of the dead fans would get it and they would make alot of money selling it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Already noticed one mislabeling. It says for Radical Highway instead of Egg Quarters on Lovely Gate 3.

@rkm – It should be up! Since I’m in the US, I can only grab the US links.

Any chance we could get these on Amazon for those of us without iPods? Every time I download iTunes, it tends to want to take over my already organized music collection and then I have to uninstall it. (Plus it’s a resource hogging nightmare)

No offense or anything, but you guys should really take the extra time and tag all the music as thorough and as accurate as possible. I really hate it when I see a song in which the artist was done by “SEGA” rather than the actual name of the person who did it, whether it’d be Jun Senoue, Fumie Kumatani, Hideaki Kobayashi, or Tomoya Ohtani, just to name a few. This is actually one of the main reasons why I import the soundtrack CD’s from Japan, because the credit sheets always detail who did what, and I just love seeing all that info light up as I cross through my music on my mp3 player. Well, that reason and also for the sake of collecting Sonic related items of course.
Still, it’s great to finally see Sonic music available for legal downloading. Let’s get the Sonic Generations soundtrack onboard as well!
Also, for the Sonic Adventure 2 soundtrack, you have Lovely Gate 3 incorrectly labeled as being a song for Radical Highway.

I can’t believe it, even all of Europe gets it, but Canada doesn’t. Shows how much Sega cares about their Canadian fans. Well, guess I’ll have to go spend my money elsewhere.

Okay, first off, THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH. YES. I LOVE IT. Now:
1. If you could finally release the Genesis soundtracks, in their entirety, that would be awesome.
2. If you could finally release Sonic CD HD, with the original Japanese soundtrack, that would be awesome.
3. If you could finally release Sonic Adventure 2 HD, with the Battle stuff from the Gamecube release added in as DLC, that would be awesome.

To my fellow Canadians and to other countries who can’t receive the Sonic OSTs/Jun Senoue’s the Works/Crush 40′s single and album/Sonic Colours OST (released in January), read the following.
I’ve posted a thread in the Sonic Colours board a while ago – now moved to Customer Support – asking about why the OST hasn’t been released to Canada despite it being labeled to North America, and now why we can’t get these soundtracks once they were released. Take the following as either a gleam of hope or a total, hopeless loss.
Paraphrasing/copy-pasting Clumsyorchid and kate, the soundtracks are not available in Canada for licensing reasons. Licensing requires complex agreements and drafted contracts, with lawyers and many different parties involved.
Everyone making a product would love to have it in wider distribution, but because it’s only available in very specific regions, it shows that there’s a lot more going on to every deal that meets the eye. Heck, you can compare the availability of Halo’s music over Sonic’s, but they’re different products over different contracts.
When SEGA releases games, it’s usually to the entire North America, but licensed music falls into a different category and comes with different restrictions. In Colours’ case, as it should’ve been labeled for the US, it was just an oversight to use the term “North America” to describe the OST release.
I know, it sucks, but… yeah. T_T Although kate told me she’d let me know if they’re able to get all of these and Colours’ OST into the Canadian iTunes store, I… don’t really have any hope for this possibility to actually happen, and with the more than likely Generations OST iTunes release next year… Well, at this rate, I think we’ll be left out again.
BUT
http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html You can make requests to the iTunes store here (it’s in general, so please use the comment box to state your nationality since I don’t know if they’ll use your email address to identify your Apple ID! Not just Canada: everyone who can’t get it in their region can hop in as well!). I doubt this will work, but if there are enough requests for Canada to get the entire digital Sonic soundtrack list that a good chunk of the world already has, it just might happen. Send multiple requests for EVERY soundtrack! All of those listed above AND the Sonic Colours soundtrack (Vivid Sounds x Hybrid Colors)!

Is there a chance or any consideration of selling these OSTs off Amazon MP3 or even Zune market down the line? I would definitely like to purchase, but that whole itunes thing is a hangup. : /
