The waterfalls and sunflowers move, but Sonic doesn’t? x.X Really… was it that hard to put in some of his animations from the game? It would of made those dynamic themes so much better..
Looks nice otherwise.. but yeah. I would of bought the modern one for sure.. but not when hes so lifeless.. when the environment isn’t, just such a bad clash.

WTF SEGA!!! You said the Super Sonic Outfit would be exclusive and now you are releasing it to the common people, nice to see “exclusive” has the same meaning to you as it does the actually meaning. You Sell Outs

Oh is that it? I was hoping for more than the costumes since promo codes for them have been floating around over a month now. Slightly disappointed I have to say as it just seems like a missed opportunity when there’s plenty of other characters to plunder for costumes and props.
What about some giant Knuckles gloves? Or a prop that has your avatar sprout Tails’ tails and hover around for a bit? Amy’s Piko Piko hammer to go with the costume? Maybe Shadow’s green Chaos Emerald to toss about and do a bit of Chaos Control with?
By the way, you made Amy’s arms the wrong colour. You may want to take cover else it’s gonna be GREEN EYES all over again.

I would imagine it’s because the 360 European Collectors Edition came with a Premium Theme, whereas the PS3 European Collectors Edition didn’t come with the Sony equivalent.

I preferred it when you got this kinda stuff from beating the game, rather than having to pay for it. Like Portal 2. I finished that game, and now I have a sweet Portal gun avatar item!

@PyroTails To be fair, you do get Dr. Robotnik’s costume from Sonic Generations, it’s when companies release avatar items and then don’t put any in the game itself that grinds my gears.
Also in the US you got Super Sonic and Casino Night from preordering Generations.
In the UK you get Super Sonic and Casino Night from buying it from GAME Group (GAME, Gamestation or Gameplay), or Sonic & Amy for buying from The Hut Group (The Hut, Zavvi, Woolworths or Sendit). These offers are still available if you don’t have Generations yet, and the game’s already sub-£20!
Dunno when Casino Night DLC is due out but it’ll be 320MSP when it’s out.

Would have been nice to see Sonic wag his finger occasionally, but still nice themes nevertheless. Hopefully us PS3 users will see some Sonic avatars in the near future as well!

Not what you would call “overwhelming” in value, but I guess it’s nice to see something pop up. Would be nice for XBL users to have one of those neat themes too (I have the one that came with the Sonic Generations pre-order), although I already know there are differences in the dashboards anyway. Guess I’ll be adding one of the two themes to my PSN dash soon, probably go with the classic theme. Good effort on your part, Sega.

Ooh, nice-one thing I’m ticked off about though-why didn’t EU purchasers get the Daytona USA Retro theme upon purchase? Is quite unfair methinks.

Why isn’t there ever any Tails items? Support the character that’s been with Sonic from nearly the start of the sonic franchise! Who wants to be Amy Rose? Really?

Alright SEGA, you’re not making too much sense. You give us Casino Night as a free download, as well as an avatar suit, and a premium theme (which I’m thankful for, as this one actually WORKS! That’s towards you, Microsoft) for pre-ordering your game. Now you’re making the suit purchasable for others, and Casino Night is coming out for them too? I mean, the hat, the shirt, and the Amy costume is acceptable (even if it’s mainly for girls, not everyone), but COME ON!!! You don’t give the US of A the collector’s edition, and there’s no other DLC? Here’s a clue: the holidays are coming VERY SOON. You could very easily release the Collector’s Edition for Christmas purchasers (or any other holiday for that matter), and you could create some new DLC that contains actual levels instead of minigames (not knocking the DLC we already have here; in fact it’s excellent). Just think about it, and please please please give your fans their requests!

Isn’t there any way the two avatar items from back in August will be made publicly available again? I never learned about them until November, and I feel really cheated by the fact that I missed out on them. What harm could there possibly be in bringing them back to open market along with these items? The people that got them in August still get the jolly of having gotten them first, just like those of us that got Super Sonic costumes from GameStop. I WANT to spend money on the cake and party hat. Please don’t reject my money!

@VizardJeffhog I am happy that the DLC is going to be on sale on the PlayStation Store as that means that I can purchase all of the exclusive PSN DLC and that means that I don’t have to open my Sonic Generations Collector’s Edition and use my DLC Codes.
