You’re very welcome, Mr. Nagoshi. I’ve loved this game since the first time I played it and the music is still trapped in my head after all these years but mostly because I refuse to let it out lol

I’ve so many fond memories of this game… my dad used to take me right after buying groceries with the family, we played once on it and then leave.
I still remember the day I first got the oval course completed, I was still about 13 years old… and it felt amazing, this game really got my blood running. Sadly, the next time I was finally going for the mid-level course but the arcade machine wasn’t there anymore…
Have been looking for this game but only found similar ones, and now I’m glad it’s re-released. Didn’t even know it was made by SEGA back then, but now I do… and I love SEGA a bit more every day.

Daytona is epic, timeless, powerful and beautiful. It has stayed with me since I first played it and a great example of a video game being an expressive art and partly reflective of our pop culture. An iconic, class game. I thank Nagoshi-san and SEGA for such an inspirational creation.

Freaking classic game. I became obsessed with Daytona- I had to get a Sega Saturn to play it.

I love that with the force feedback and my arcade racing rig…I can feel like I’m in the arcade at home.

@#10 I’d have to go with Daytona 2 first, then Scud Race, then Sega Rally 1 & 2.

@# 11 If SEGA made like a classic arcade racing compilation I would literally at least buy 5 copies of that thing!

Luv this game and have spent countless hours playing it at the arcades. Please bring this game out on disc for the many fans that don’t have there systems online.
