Just a note, you wrote Sonic 4 Episode II in the title instead of Episode I.

Sega, you need to add the system requirements given this game is only compatible with Tegra devices ATM. People will want to know why this game won’t play when Sonic CD runs beautifully on their Android device.

@exfileme – It should be compatable with the most popular Android devices with minimum of a single core 1ghz processor and Open GL 2.0 ES gpu.

Well, that’s 2 games I need to pick up from the Android Market. Need to buy Chu Chu Rocket and Sonic 4: Episode 1. Bought Sonic 4: episode 1 for my PS3 and enjoyed it, and I’m sure I’ll enjoy it on my tablet! ^_^
Thanks SEGA~! =)

According to the game’s Android page under “Permissions,” the application will have access to your phone number, and potentially know who you’re calling.
This is new, something not on the iphone, it violates your privacy! DON’T BUY.
…The game sucks anyway. It’s a joke to call the storyline anything related to what would happen after Sonic 3, and it’s a broken mess with inconsistent level designs and crap physics.

Those worried about the call permissions the game has, it’s a default setting for Android apps that someone at Sega forgot to turn off.
That, or they’re harvesting phone numbers for the upcoming Sonic 4: Episode 2 Call-a-thon. “Hola! Yo soy Ken Balough, and I want to habla with you about Sonic 4: Episode 2 – Metal Sonic Boogaloo.

@kateburning Sega just announced Episode II for Android in December, and a Sega representative stated that it’s for Tegra devices only. I’m assuming the same applies to Episode I for now.
Sega PR rep: “I can’t confirm anything, but I’m sure SEGA is considering additional platforms, since Sonic CD was made available for the Xperia PLAY. Stay tuned!”

I’m happy that we can get Sonic 4 EP1 on Android. But we can’t get it on Steam in Taiwan region.
That’s too bad. I want it on PC. QQ Hope it will be released on Steam in Taiwan region.
