Hi,
Can you confirm that this is the version that will be free for Playstation Plus members this month? The Playstation blog only lists it as “Virtua Fighter 5″ and I don’t want to leave room for ambiguity.
Thanks!

Ooh! That app sounds handy! I can’t see it in the AppStore yet though…
Still, I can’t wait to download the Complete Edition tonight once I back home from work!

Come on, SEGA! Don’t be a miser and give one European VF5FS PS3 Game Code to a troubled fan! I’ve been a true VF enthusiast since VF3TB and I did everything I could to support this franchise. I was playing VF5 like mad on X360 and I can’t even count all the hours I’ve put into VF4 EVO. I dying for VF5FS, but I’m broke right now so I can’t even pay the low price you want for it… Please, help me out.

Sony had the VF5 logo up when talking about PS+ during their press event. Will + members be getting VF5 FS for “free” or for a discounted price?

I feel you man. Same situation except I started with 4. I’ll get it but there will be a delay of course. I plan on getting the dlc later as well, though a free “anything” would be nice. I won’t hold my breath of course. Sega has done enough by just bring the game with online to ps3.

Is the companion app released in Europe as well? Can we have a link to it on Google Play/Android Market?

Yes, I’ll get it no matter what since for me Virtua Fighter is the only 3D fighting series deep enough to actually be worth playing more than a couple of weeks, but it may take a really long time in my current life situation if SEGA won’t be generous. I saw this so I know such codes exist: http://virtuafighter.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/323780/Australia%20-%20Eight%20VF5FS%20Game%20C I’ll add that I used my last money to buy Yakuza 4 last month.

Is the price for australia listed wrong? $6.25 seems really cheap?

Well you may be glad to know that the game comes in a bundle that is essentially 30% off. Not sure if thats just here in the US, though. Oh I got Yakuza 4 a while ago, and I’m loving it….especially since its the closest thing I have to Shenmue at the moment [glares at sega then remember the awesome that is VF]

@Dravidian: The problem with that awesome deal is that it’s just for the first two weeks and I have not means of getting cash in that time. =(
I know I’m moaning like a crybaby, but I really wouldn’t do this if it wasn’t for my VF’s love. Still hoping for a nifty code from SEGA.
