Sonic 4 Ep 2 was terrible!! You took my most cherished memories of playing multiplayer in Sonic 2, 3 & Knuckles and you spat all over it! You made playing multiplayer into more of a punishment than a fun time, with the extra player constantly finding new ways to cripple you that wouldn’t happen in single player, until you discover that Super Sonic basically doesn’t work in multiplayer at all! Yeah, instead of FINALLY giving us Super Tails back, you neutered Super Sonic further. Brilliant, SEGA. After your big scam forced me to buy Episode 1 again for Episode Metal, too (because I had it for Wii). You’re a real class act. Then, oh, yeah, the red rings do NOTHING. WTF?? And you can’t play as Tails in single player. Team flying doesn’t count! (not to me, anyway) Add this all up, and not only was this a disappointment, but a rip off, too! I kinda want my money back, but I know that’s impossible. Just know that your business from me is about to decline. I’m going to carefully scrutinize a game’s reviews and such before I buy it now… and you always get terrible reviews! But you brought it on yourself. You messed with Tails. S*it just got real. DX (BTW, positive note: physics was fine. But on the other hand, I had no problem with it in Ep 1. I’m not b*tching about nonsense. You pulled real nasty stunts here. I had expectations, and they were NOT about the color of Sonic’s eyes. They were genuine.)

@Chad Maybe in single player. I just feel ripped off in several ways that wouldn’t have happened in the Genesis era. I REALLY felt snubbed when after collecting all the Chaos Emeralds & Red Rings, all I had to show for it was a flimsy Super Form and a couple Playstation trophies. Trophies suck, and if you delete your file and do the trophy requirements over again, you get NOTHING. So I count the red rings as giving you nothing. Unless I missed something… which I would still consider a foul on Sega’s part. I WAS paying attention!
But yeah, if you play single player, without Super Sonic, and ignore those Special Stages because I NEEDED a second player to beat most of them… then, yeah, it was fine…

[PLEASE READ SEGA] I enjoyed episode 2, I hope that sega will make another installment. Co-op was a bit frantic at times, but I’m glad it was included. I remember when another player who was tails showed me some red star ring locations and secret spots. I prefer episode 2 special stages a lot more than episode 1. Hopefully special stages in episode 3 wont be like the one’s on sonic 3!! Some parts in the underwater levels were frustrating.{ Like the badniks that can freeze sonic or block paths} The engine was stunning, and the physics were spot on. Overall it was a GREAT game. I’d give it a 8.5 out of 10!! SEGA want’s feedback, so make sure to write in.

Why is this not on the windows phone yet ? Its really boring playing sonic 4 episode 1 again and again. The deadline was set for July of 2012, and its September now. Its really annoying how as soon as my android phone breaks and I get a windows phone the newest title I want is on my old platform. >:(.

I also have the same question…why isn’t episode 2 compatible with the Motorola Xoom when episode 1 is and honestly it is a great game and by now I would think it would be because I am getting a little bored killing every stage with supersonic. So please take this into consideration why have half of it on the system and the other half not?
