Rhythm Thief & The Emperor’s Treasure is Now Available!Rhythm Thief & The Emperor’s Treasure is now available in North America, now the entire world can feel the rhythm and discover the mystery behind the game exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS!
There’s lots to do and see, including a wide variety of rhythm games, that start easy and become increasingly more challenging. The overall game is wrapped in a mystery involving Raphael, who is on the hunt to discover the whereabouts of his missing father. His methods may seem unsound – thieving art from the Louvre in Paris – but you’ll soon discover his reasons and the story behind the art he is grabbing. If you want a taste of the game before picking it up, do check out the Demo on the Nintendo EShop! It features 3 mini-games and a good set up for things to come! If you’ve picked up the game, tell us your experience, we’d love to hear it!

Loved the demo, I wish I could watch the new trailer, it says it’s a private video. Anyway, I’ll buy it, worth the experience.

I bought Rhythm Thief just recently, though I live in Australia. Heck I don’t even have a 3DS that’s how excited I am to play the game
I bought it in anticipation of getting the 3DS XL which is still a month & a half away from where I live.

This game is probably good, but Sega need’s to focus on their core title’s and become a serious contender in the gaming industry.

Rhythm Thief is a fantastic game! I hope we get a sequel to the game since The Emperor’s Treasure ended on a cliffhanger.

Sad to hear this game didn’t do so well in the UK but there are a few very good reasons for that.
1. There was very little to no advertising for it here. (I merely found out by coincidence that this game existed. Walked into Toys R Us to get birthday present for little sister and saw this game. Bought it and glad that I did. If I hadn’t done that, I wouldn’t have known this game existed.) If your average gamer like myself didn’t know about it, you can safely say that most others don’t even know it exists. If we don’t know about it; how could we buy it?
2nd reason is because one of our major game outlets almost crashed and so didn’t stock new releases during the time this game was newly released. So it really didn’t even get much chance to hit our shelves during that company’s financial crisis.
Quite sad really considering that this game is pretty great and fun and a fresh new franchise which is quite solid. Hopefully we get to see a sequel and it’s released here as well with a proper chance.
