^^^ Agreeing with TRiPPY, this was probably the most amazing event of my entire life as if it was my destiny. I had a lots of fun talking to the people who brought us such amazing and inspiring games to people everywhere in the world. I definitely come back next year with a new Sega cosplay. One I hope to join the ranks as a Sega employee once I’m finish with school.

I agree to both, it was such an amazing event. Meeting Kori-Maru there (he’s a awesome guy, rooted him up for his costume), Being in the Trivia and teaming up with Steve L. was such a very joyful time seeing the guy who made the crossovers happen in a great way (also won on the trivia, and was on the video at least at the short second). Maybe i may return here next year, but if it’s only where i live close (San Diego) maybe being in the cosplay as well (SEGA Character at least).

Sooo looking forward to next year if I can~
That night was SO grand, it blew away the first year out of the water! As successful as it’s been in its first two times, it’s gonna be a lot bigger for sure. You’re gonna need a bigger venue! Totally worth the price of admission (seriously all you can eat and drink?? …well soda and water but still! That staff was ON IT serving the entire night!)
I was shocked to see a few faces and a few that recognized me from last year. I know I’ll be seeing more faces new and old at the next one~
So far it’s been held in Los Angeles and San Diego……… any chance San Francisco’s next? ;D (Closer to home no? …Probably better to get away though lol)
Either way, GREAT event community team!
…And thanks for enjoying Mecha Sonic lol. Next year’s gonna be SO BOMB!

This must be the MOST EPIC thing I’ve seen in a while. No, seriously. Now I want to go to Sonic Boom. In costume. And then almost destroy my costume during a Crush 40 show by jumping too much.
Why the travel by plane to San Diego must cost around US$ 1800? T_____T

This video is awesome, and the quality too! Can we have more videos from the Crush 40 & Cash Cash performance with this incredible sound?

Overall Sonic Boom 2012 was a fantastic event.
My only complaint would have to be about that lady that was hosting most of it. She was so obviously not into it at all and seemed like she didn’t really want to be there. Next time, try getting someone who is an actual sonic and/or video game fan, or at least someone who is really good at pretending to be one.
Also, just a comment, perhaps have some retro sonic music playing in the background during the first hour before the event actually starts, rather than the generic top 40 music that was playing. I heard many people at the event making negative comments about / mocking the pre-event music.

One of the greatest events I’ve ever been to. Crush 40 and Cash Cash performing was just amazing, it blew my mind! The other events were so great as well, getting to meet other Sonic fans. I really, REALLY hope sega does this in San Diego again. Being able to attend the concert and Comic Con just around the corner is awesome. Not to mention the friendly staff within the House of Blues and all you can eat!
In conclusion, a FANTASTIC night.

The video is amazing…It is sad that I didn’t get to go last year and 2011, to meet with everyone and Crush 40!*sigh*
Dear Sega,
Is there going to be Sonic Boom 2013, this year? If so, I would love to attend and meet with you and everyone that are attending!

Doesn’t seem ike Boom will be held during SDCC this year.. so how about holding the event close to home this year? San Francisco would be perfect

Echoing the above- I’ve been waiting for an announcement of yay or nay on this year’s Boom event.
If yay, it’d be nice if it wasn’t announced at the last minute in congruence with another large-large event (year 1 being E3… it was luck to get a room for that, and year 2 being SDCC … which from checking alone, most places are sold out already).
If nay… …well a word about that would be nice too lol.
