SEGA @ PAX – The Swag Post
The Penny Arcade Expo is nearly here! In a week’s time we’ll be in sunny Seattle showing off a ton of SEGA games and meeting the fans of our products. We’ve already detailed the games that are available for play on the show floor and today we show you the goods! As if playing the games is not a reward in itself, we’ll also have some very select giveaways on hand for those who come by and check out the games. Aliens: Colonial Marines
We have some exciting stuff to show off for Aliens: Colonial Marines, everyone who plays the demo will pick up a free shirt for your Xbox 360 avatar.
We’ll also have T-Shirts on hand for those that come by and pre-order the game. These shirts were created in very limited numbers and are extremely rare, come by and pick one up!
And for those looking to show off their Xeno killing abilities, Alienware will have a tournament once a day to reward the top scorers in Team Deathmatch with an Aliens: Colonial Marines prize pack. Gosh, I waited a long time for SA2 release for ps3!! Will it be a HD version or just a port like SA1?

Hahah SEGA even you guys would rather it name SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed than Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
SEGA All-Stars Racing is so much more representative of the final product than Sonic & All-Stars. But that’s just me grasping at straws. Anyways, really solid line up this year, not a single game looks bad. All 3 HD games are complete classics, Hell Yeah looks outrageously awesome, Transformed is just an awesome celebration of all things SEGA, and I have a feeling that when Phantasy Star comes out in the west I’m gonna be addicted to it

Please bring Sonic Heroes to the NA PS Store & Can we PLEASE get a PS Vita version of Sonic Adventure 2 HD. I’d buy a PS3 and PS Vita copy seperately for that. Also I did a bit of research to find out the PS Vita version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed runs on the same engine as PS3/360 and runs the same which means it’s identical like Need for Speed thankfully. Please tell me online is 8 players on vita and has randomized stages or GP or even Battle Mode & is 8 players on PS Vita as well?

Games take time to develop, be it a large or a small development team.
Also, I wouldn’t promise billions. While it’s a nice thought, better to make sure the game generates revenue first. Things like defaulting the budget is a good start. (Which I’m sure is acheived at least already.)
Otherwise, just sit tight, may even enjoy the fresh air a little bit.

Ok but I just got annoyed that no one likes the newere games like 06 and unleashed so I was just giving sega a tip to make the game all sonic fans want I mean there is even a website and a Facebook page on it.

It’s great that Sonic Adventure 2 is going to be rereleased, but will Sonic Adventure get rereleased for Nintendo 3DS? Sonic Adventure 3D would be awesome!

I don’t think Adventure 3 is a good idea right now. While S4Ep2 is a step in the right direction, and generations felt really good, they are still both lacking in what made sonic awesome from the beginning. On top of that, SA1 was more buggy on the PS3 that it was on the PC AND the DC. SA2 will hopefully not be a repeat of that, but I’d say wait for it to come out first, before asking for a 3rd game in that part of the series. We want SA3 to be a really good game, and if it’s not done right, SEGA will finish dying off this time.

On the PSO2 topic, I haven’t played Phantasy Star since the first four (I can’t find any of the newer ones) so I can’t wait.

I concur. I feel like if SEGA can just pull it off really well, and they take their time with it, work on the best possible gameplay, story, and graphical quality, with a twist of their older Genisis-era “evil” (just making things so that they’re barely possible) WITHOUT GLITCHES, or Sonic’s real worst enemy: poor camera angles, and mayhap a more sobering tone, they might be able to cement the SA series as a success instead of an abysmal failure.

To everyone else. I know we are all anxious to see the game release in the North America, but we do have to have some sort of patience for it though. I mean translation is a pain also it has to go through so much process to see what can be allowed to be shown here or not. Either have English voices or not. Server capacity, and all the bells and whistles. Sure its been around 6-7 months since we heard anything PSO2 NA related, and I can feel what every one. I am one of many anxious to wait for this game. I have played it on the Japanese servers and it is amazing and actually worth the wait. There is no doubt about this game at all and I can see it flourish here in the states especially to its fans and new comers alike. So I can definitely guarantee that this game will be worth the wait. I can vouch for that. I can’t wait to play with my friends in the US as well and also meet all of you in game. So please do wait patiently and don’t just picket or hold pitchforks and torches everyone. This game is FREE TO PLAY so you can all hold your horses for a little bit longer.
To everyone at Sega. You guys are doing a magnificent job. You guys really are, especially the team here in the states and in Japan. Though a little bit of news would be very well appreciated. Like a little bit of progress. Not game info wise though. Just if things are going okay, this and that. Keeping everyone in suspense might either kill their hype for the game or just makes them stop caring about it. This is just my own opinion, but on the other hands you guys are doing great. Keep it up. Though a little tease would be great though I know you guys have guidelines to follow and such so its understandable.

You seem to misunderstand. The majority of us aren’t demanding its immediate release, we mostly just want to be updated. I mean they announced it to be released early 2013 and we are already 8 days into the third month without a peep from them. It would be nice to at the very least receive some sort of update… maybe an estimated date. I’m not say they need to set a date and meet it, it would just be nice to hear SOMETHING about it especially since its such an anticipated release.
