I prefer physical trading cards, but still somewhat “way past cool”. Sadly I won’t see these in my trading cards binders.
I’ll share this info with my Sonic/Trading cards fan/friends.

At first I was like “Whoa, that’s awesome, I’d like to get those cards on my hands!” but then realized that it’s only digital… No thanks. =/

I suppose this is the future in the present. Virtual goods.
eBooks, digital magazines and why not eCollectables.
Sounds cool to have a Sonic eCollection in my iPhone and trade online with people around the world.
Uniqueness? Limited series? I’m sure it’s solved but better understand how.
Good enough to give it a try.

There was a real Sonic trading card game some time ago. It was based off The Chris Thorndyke Show feat. Sonic The Hedgehog/Sonic X. Faded into obscurity really quickly as it failed to really take off.

I have some Sonic trading cards I made on my own, though it was when I was 5 or 6. I can’t read them anymore so I practiced my rt ALOT and got mondo good. I say there “Way Past Cool” others say “Awesome”. So I was looking forward to physical trading cards like I made, but there virtual…. So I want to know how to get them?

Seems cool. Would’ve been much cooler if they were actual cards, though…

Really? Sonic The Hedgehog trading cards? That’s lame. Just make Sonic Rivals 3 already. (Or at least re-release Sonic Adventure for 3DS)

i was thinking it would be like one of those, scan random barcodes/QR codes and it gives you a card. cool idea though

Would be extra cool if the cards could be used for something like AR cards on the 3DS or even on the Wii U?

“Digital” Trading Cards?
Hmm….how do you trade something digitally? You can always duplicate your card and “give” the friend the copy….or is that not how it works?
No offence, it sounds like a silly concept, if the trading cards were physical you have a good point, but digitally? May as well just call them Digital cards due to the manipulation of duplicating your cards and giving the others to your friends, therefore reducing SEGA’s profits.
