Just testes SA2. A bit disappointed because, again, no Gamepad support. Fortunately, the community found ways and programmed DLLs so that Gamepad Support can be added.
However, it's a bit sad to release a platform game, not caring about people who actually want to play it like they did on the consoles of the 1990s, instead relying on the keyboard.

Also, no 64bit support. For such an old game, none may be needed, still it is disappointing having to run games in 32bit compatibility mode (again, gives issues with DLLs), when we are used to all other software being 64bit for years.

Graphics could have also improved a bit more.

Still, a nice game, though I enjoy Sonic 4 more (which shares some of the issues).

I want to play nights on my iPad2. Sega really needs like a classic game selection recommendation for iOS users. I wouldn't seeing panzer dragon as well.

am I blind or thomething? I went to links that lead to minisites of those games, on NiGHTS into dreams I see that this game already aviable for PC download as also even Jet Set Radio, but for Sonic Adventure 2 there no sight of PC version, my guess that for Sonic Adventure 2 PC gamers are screwd, cuz this version was only on possibilyty, but SEGA decited to throw it away and make Sonic Adventure 2 only for XBOX360 and PS3

You know guys, I feel a bit awkward because I keep checking back here almost daily because
I'm eager to have any kind of information about the PC version of SA2HD. I don't mind the delay, it's just the deep silence that is starting to disturb me. Please give us a life sign or something. Edward? Could you please just post another message here to assure me (us) that I'm (we are) not waiting pointlessly? That'd set us at ease I think. XD

My biggest concern here is with the "months" statement. even if we could have a rough time estimate (if not an exact date), it would be more comforting than "months."
The problem is, with vague delaying like that, I can very easily see the PC version getting cancelled. Especially given that now, over a month later, we haven't gotten a drop of news about it. Not a hint, not even a reference they're even still working on it. This isnt a new game we're talking about, here. Its a port. A small scale port meant to cash in on a game's popularity/legacy. No matter how much we love these games (I do, and I bet most people here do, too), its still only a port, and I have a hard time seeing a profiteering company reallocating any significant resources to this project for any significant amount of time. As "months" progress, the money invested in the project will outgrow the profits they'll make by releasing it: its not like this will fly off the digital shelves, you know.

All I want is some concrete news or a vague time date so I can know that the PC ports aren't on their way to the digital scrap heap.

I don't see many asking for this, but I gotta say it. I would love to see online multiplayer for versus and chao modes. I'd even pay extra to see it added. My friends and I all rushed to get it hoping such would be the case (we spent many, many days grinding out those shiny little vials to raise our Chao in the hopes of besting one another) and, while we love playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle again, it was disappointing to see.

I can't believe my eyes reading those comments, I mean no offense but honestly it's ridicolous how unreasonably demanding more than half of you guys are.

Good things take their time, especially with a modular platform like the PC it is more than simple copy and paste to make a game run. You need to regard the low end, average end and high end gamers, and need to satisfy those. Xbox and PS3 are streamlined in the sense that you have one piece of hardware you can optimize your game for, and especially with a game like Sonic, you need to make sure it runs good.

So I'm all down waiting for the PC release no matter how long it takes, no sweat. I invested days playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on the Gamecube, so I rather want to have a good PC port than a sloppy one just for the sake of a simultaneous release with the consoles.

You know, they could always decide against a PC port, but they don't because they care about us. If we PC gamers were second class, we wouldn't even get a port to begin with, and try to imagine that instead of moaning over a soon release. Because honestly it is really just reasonable that they take their time instead of rushing a port, but sadly to most they are too stubborn to DEMAND THEIR STUFF now to see even a faintest spark of reason.

So SEGA, and especially Edward, I gotta give you mad props for taking your time to reply to us and for even at least confirming the PC Port with this post for sure. It might take till end of year, it might just come next summer. You gotta know, I will buy it day 1, because SEGA is one of the few communities that actually give a damn about PC gaming, so I know the port is going to be good, and I wanna tell you guys to keep up the good work.

To all others, you need to be patient. I, for myself, feel really lucky to get this game for PC. It could've gone differently, but it is coming to PC, and that is making me really happy.

PS: How can anyone even misunderstand that? Of course PC Gamers these days are lucky to get a PC version, most other companies just neglect us gamers with awful ports or no PC version at all.
