Wow. That’s a neat commercial. I like Ai Ai’s part in it. You guys are really advertising the heck out of Danica Patrick being in it. Why not advertise Wreck-It Ralph’s appearance more?

Nice, kinda werid, commercial…
And, what about showing us PC gamers a little more respect? The game is coming out in 6 days (!) for the consoles and in early December for the portables, and you have already advertised the WiiU version, but we STILL don’t have a release date. In fact, there are almost no references about a PC release, no “PC DIGITAL” or similar logos on the trailers, nor any new information on your blog posts.
So, is the PC version still going to be released?

I’m with #3, I’m really into the Steam release.
Cool commercial though.

@JohnTH: SEGA always has this attitude towards PC versions, they tend to hide PC versions of games, or announce as little details as possible, and if the PC version launches with big issues, they tend to take too long to patch the issues, or may even not patch the issues at all.
When they fixed the no text issue in Viking Battle for Asgard within 24 hours after launch, I thought the not caring attitude towards PC versions was changing, but it’s been nearly 4 weeks since launch, and there’s still a big issue with the game that hasn’t been fixed (the controls are not mapped properly for alot of controllers, including the wireless XBox 360 controller).
There’s also some 2011 games with major issues that have never been fixed, like Sonic Generations online mode that crashes the game almost every time, or the 4 Dreamcast Collection games that were released on Steam, the configuration tool is broken for them since launch and, even though the fix is really simple, it’s just a registry tweak, even after contacting SEGA’s support multiple times about this, they never released a patch for this.

I liked this commercial, it reminds me of some funny ads of 90′s games… hahahahahahaha…

Yeah, I know… it’s just so annoying, it’s like they’re ashamed of releasing a PC game or something.
And Sonic Generations isn’t a totally bad port. I guess the only issues are the online mode and the config tool (and the game can’t sync correctly to 60Hz, but D3DOverrider can force vsync and keep the game smooth at 60FPS; also only 16:9 aspect ratio, but it doesn’t annoy me very much). Other than that, it’s an actually good port.
*sigh*

Please give us a release date for PC. It’s the only platform of the game I can get right now. I really want this game! Please!

No PC information?
What a surprise SEGA.
I’m still waiting for some kind of date for SA2 and Nights HD.
And nothing on this.
Sure is nice to know we matter as customers.

Neato commercial. Very 90′s-esque. Too bad nobody but Sonic, Danica, and Aiai were in it.

Sonic is looking more and more low budget as the years go on, and Sega are becoming an exercise in marketing.

I personally hate this commercial. The trailers were so epic and awesome, and I feel that if someone were to watch this commercial, they would never want to buy the game. The commercial makes it seem like the only characters worth noting are Sonic and Danica Patrick. (As well as AiAi) I really think other characters should’ve gotten more of a spotlight. And what about Wreck-it Ralph? Huge opportunity missed, right there! This commercial should’ve been epic and awesome, was it was the corniest commercial I’ve ever seen in my life.

@SMH: There will be a PC version, unfortunately the PC version doesn’t have a release date yet, so most likely it’ll be months until it’s available. :<

Try watching the commercial with the transcribed closed captioning enabled and, while doing so, not even slightly grinning. Yes, oh, yes, it makes for a hilarious display of characters neck in neck with each other or doing random things on a race track even funnier.

Love the commercial! It could have used more gameplay footage but it captured the fun of the game rather than the action packedness for once which honestly made me much more curious.
Nice work SEGA (If you even read these).
