Performance in Nexus 10 is very very poor, it can’t be played well… I have the most powerful tablet and this game doesn’t work well
Will you launch an upgrade or something to fix it?

Snagged it already! Now own Jet Grind/Jet Set Radio on Dreamcast (in Japan & USA flavors), XBLA, Steam, PS Vita and Android tablet. Now, Sega, How about Daytona USA for Android tablets? Or Outrun. Either or.

Thank you for this! Please please PLEASE say you guys are going to put more of the dreamcast games on ios. If you put Skies of Arcadia and Shenmue on it I (and many others I imagine) will love you forever.

Hey SEGA, does it work on Xperia Play? I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it doesn’t, the Xperia isn’t exactly powerful and Jet Set Radio looks to be a pretty demanding game for smartphones. But either way, it would be greatly appreciated if you guys could answer this

Bought it already! Referred a couple of friends as well! I can not wait for further dreamcast games! I would love a remade sonic shuffle, sonic adventure 1 and 2, shenmue…and so many more. How’s about giving us a little Christmas gift and give us a future release schedule or plan for the sega heritage collection. More dreamcast on iOS! Thanks!

Yep, works on the Play. But it’s very slow. I have a Neo which has the same internals.
Also, once installed, the file left on the phone is 16meg, which you can’t move to sd card. Dunno what genius didn’t enable moving to sd.

@Yosef
How slow? I heard it plays slowly but us smooth, almost as if you were playing in slo-mo. If it isn’t jittery then I’ll consider purchasing it.

@Beat
Well, it’s certainly playable. I didn’t get any stuttering, so it’s like playing in slow motion… Sadly, because of that, the game sometimes doesn’t register you swiping on screen to spray the graffiti… There should really be an option to use the control pad instead of swiping.
Also, be aware that the game’s install file takes 16 megs on your internal memory and can’t be moved… What they don’t tell you si that it will download a 500meg file onto your SD Card, which will then be extracted to a file that is approx 1.2 gb in size, so make sure you have plenty of free space on your SD Card too.
Lastly, it might not delete the 500meg file after install. It did the first time I installed the game. Didn’t the 2nd time. It’s located in SD Card/Android/obb/.
So yeah, it’s slow, but it’s smooth.

Yeah, I bought it earlier. It may be rather slow (though the sewer part of Kogane-Cho is nearly lag-free, oddly enough), but it definitely IS playable. I mean, you really cant beat Jet Set Radio on the go

Certainly can’t beat it. It’s an all time classic. I just hope an update lets me use the pad to do the graffiti motions, and even more important, some better optimizations for our Xperias.

@Eric,
From the reviews I’ve read on the Google Play store, it seems like it’s not working well on the S3. I’m sure SEGA will fix it soon.

I have the Nexus 10 and it plays like everything is under water. Not super slow but enough you don’t feel like you’re playing Jet Set Radio.

Still makes no sense why you haven’t ported this to the 3DS/WiiU eShop. Digital releases on there are cheap and you’d sell a metric tonne.
Makes absolutely no sense…Just port the DC version to the 3DS and XBLA/PSN version to WiiU’s eShop. EASY MONEY.
