SEGA Announces Launch Date and Price for The Cave!Named GameInformer’s Best Adventure Game of E3 2012, The Cave is a new adventure game from Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion creator Ron Gilbert, and Double Fine Productions, the award-winning studio behind Psychonauts and Brütal Legend. Players can assemble their team of three from seven unlikely adventures, each with their own unique personalities and stories, and then descend into the mysterious depths of The Cave. In North America, The Cave will be available on January 22nd for the PlayStation Network at $14.99, and the Nintendo eShop on Wii U for $14.99. On January 23rd, it will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 1200 MSP, and Steam (Mac & PC) for $14.99. In Europe, The Cave will be available on January 23rd for PlayStation Network at €12.99/£9.99/AUD$19.95. On January 23rd, it will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade at 1200 MSP, and Steam (Mac & PC) for €12.99/£9.99/AUD$19.95 . The release date for the Nintendo eShop on Wii U will be announced soon.
