Dawn of War is a brilliant series but please tell me that Sega also got the rights to Space Marine which was also done by Relic. Both games deserve more sequels.

Could Sega please pick up Vigil as well? Relic is awesome, but so is Vigil. I think Darksiders would be a great ip for Sega to have.
(yeah, I know it Sega’s choice and will probably completely ignore my lone voice, but I have to try at least once) XO

With Relic or THQ Canada (Includes IP such as Warhammer 40K, Company of Heroes) on hand of SEGA, SEGA become very strong in RTS/Strategic Games, beside Creative Assemble.

Bring it back the Dark Millennium Online.. You guys have the opportunity to make the best MMORPG/TPS ever with the “ginormous”, grim and violent universe of Warhammer 40.000.

Now Sega go save Vigil Games! They’ve already spent years on the 40K mmo and their first game (Darksiders) was great for a first!
Don’t let that talent get away!

It would be a shame indeed if the Homeworld IP went unaquired by anybody, and especially moreso if it goes unaquired by the actual owners of Relic Entertainment, even if a lot of the Homeworld team is not there anymore…

Dear SEGA,
Please buy Homeworld, too. It would fit your PC strategy like a glove, and you already have Relic.
Thanks!

Dang, things are getting shocking now that they’re doing this. Next thing you’d know would be they would acquire some of the old Rareware (before the Microsoft selling) franchise, but that’s just me. Anyway am looking forward to what’s in store.

I think its great sega acquired relic. It puts the in a great position it the strategy game mmo game market. Its seems sega’s new strategy is working very well and relic is a great addition to their studios. Their pc division is getting much stronger. As for warhammer 40k the inked a deal with work shop to make warhammer games with creative assembly and say they already have something on the burner. Its very possible now since the aqusion of relic they could have relic, creative assembly & hard light could possibly all work on a warhammer game. If so that could be very interesting to see what the could come up with.

On the COH they said production was not interrupted while the auction was taken place & it is to be released on the original release date they specified. So in other words company of heros was one of the ip’s sega purchased and if all goes as planned it should release sometime soon this year..

As for COH it was never cancelled by thq or sega. There was a new warhammer 40k ip that was cancelled when thq owned relic. COH it is being said they are putting the final finish on it. The other known ip is too still in delvopment which is “ATLUS” which was also picked up by sega. Those are the only two titles in development by relic right now. As i said eairler there was a deal signed with workshop & sega back in December that have creative assembly to work on new warhammer 40k games and is said that there is already something being worked on.

I would like to see the Dawn of War franchise split into two game lines. One based upon the Dark Crusade line of play, and one based upon the DOW II play style of command unit management. The evolution of the game can take two routes to success in support of the 40k vision and partnership with Games Workshop. Thank you!

I think i can say in the name of all HOMEWORLD fans out there, that homeworld is great game and its a shame to go wasted and forgoten. Its a shame noone wants to grab that IP and make some good use of it. COH is good game (great seller) but we the community think that well designed and not rushed homeworld 3 would be even better seller
If you ask yourself how many 10 to 14 years old games are played today so massively and its not MMO. I would say only three and that is HOMEWORLD, HOMEWORLD CATACLYSM and HOMEWORLD 2!!
Regards!!!
